It's the sort of menu I once tried pitching to my mates back in the UK. Their response? "Who's gonna eat all that?" Me. Apparently. I rolled into the drive-thru, completed what can only be described as a textbook pickup, and returned to my hotel room like a man on a mission. The first casualty was the Italian beef, dressed with spicy peppers because life is simply too short to order it any other way. What happened next is probably best kept between me, the sandwich, and whatever poor soul has to wash the bedsheets. The fries disappeared without a trace. The Coke Zero fought the good fight but ultimately shared the same fate. For a place I'd never even heard of before today, Portillo's has made one hell of a first impression. 5/5.
