We only used the drive thru so we will rate that. The service was fast, we were able to clearly Understand the person taking the order so their speakers are new. The whole building looks new even though it's on the side of I-10 on an older side of town. So the ambiance as far as drive thru was a clean new look. The food it's a Whataburger and we like them: for a fast food it's great. I liked that they paid attention to my request of no onion no pickle so I didn't have to go fishing for those around in my sandwich and the burgers were nice and hot. No complaints here: Enjoy! Oh one observation: when you order thru the drive thru, there is no lane to turn back into the other side of the building where the parking is, so we had to go to the nearby gas station to park there and eat our burger instead. I'm a native of the Land of Fruits and Nuts, and In-n-Out is the locals chain that Californians love. Just like Whataburger. So although it's not a requirement to eat at Whataburger when passing through, it's so much a part of the Lone Star State that you should time your lunches for when you see that big orange W. One Wednesday night, we ran out of time so I couldn't make dinner, so we went to this Whataburger. Me: Pico De Gallo burger. Hunny: regular bbq burger on Texas toast. Girl: regular cheeseburger. Fries & Cokes for all three. Drive-thru was slow. Only two cars in front of us. Either they take their time, or there was too few people working there. Oh well, we got our food. I found the patty to be somewhat like Wendy's, but better tasting. Not as good as the flame-broiled beef of Burger King, though. FYI, pico de gallo is like homemade salsa, and it made this burger sooo good. Fries were their usual mushy self. Whataburger is pretty good. Last time I have been to a Whataburger has been 23 years ago since I lived in Houston. So, coming back to Texas for a vacation is exciting to have this again. But oh my goodness, I don't remember prices being this expensive (but then again, there is 5 of us). So this is definitely worth the price for sure how much we spent. read more

After living in Texas for twenty three years and visiting multiple Whataburgers in multiple locations and multiple times of the day, this has got to be the worst one in my experience. We waited in the drive through almost an hour, about fifty minutes. Once you are in the driveway through you are stuck and can not get out. After the long frustrating wait, we finally made it to the window and got our food. We were back on the road heading over to Louisiana when we pulled out our food and it was totally wrong. Did not receive the sandwiches we ordered. So disappointing. Not sure if I will ever go back to a Whataburger and especially not this location. The bad first.. the manager/shift leader wasn't wearing a mask and was actively working with all orders and delivered all orders to your table. Food is good! Monterrey burger was hubby-sized and really good! It has a fajita sauce on it with 2 patties! My son ate chicken bites and fries with ranch dip!! Had to pay $.39 for an extra dip but it was totally worth it! Large dips and very tasty! I had the whataburger junior!! It was juicy!! Tea was fresh at 9 pm so I was impressed. What a great experience for a fast food restaurant! The staff was funny and attentive to our needs. While eating we had two different people come check to see if we needed anything. The staff were mostly males who you could tell the enjoyed working together. They laughed and joked with each other but did their jobs as well. I got the Monterrey melt and it was GREAT! Next time I will go for one piece of meat as double was just too much for me to eat. The sweet tea was great! The only thing that kept them from getting 5 stars is that several tables were dirty as well as the bathroom. The tables were still dirty as we were leaving. read more

My husband ordered his usual favorite, Whataburger Jr. with avocado, fries and water to drink! I ordered the Garden salad+grilled chicken, no cheese and balsamic vinaigrette along with a water! We were give large Whataburger cups for our water! Our meals were fresh and tasty! Our compliments to the cooks and the servers! They were super busy, but smiling and getting the job done! A while ago I rated this place 5 stars cause come on! its whataburger and the location is really great! But! I went here July 2nd to get a burger on my way up to Sam Reburn Lake. I was perfectly fine the whole week leading up to this day but about 45 minutes after eating at this location, I became violently sick! Throwing up, diarrhea, vertigo etc. For the rest of the 4 day weekend I could only stomach a finger sandwich, 3 chicken strips, a handful of fries, 8 fried oysters, and 4 jell-o shots (at the 4th of July party.) I spent most of my time drinking Gatorade and being violently sick. Its a sad day when the 21 year old has to play Designated Boat Driver for two 30 year olds, a 29 year old and a 26 year old. I don't know if I'm right to blame this Whataburger but I felt fine all the way up to eating there and then was violently sick for the next 3 and a half days starting 45 minutes after eating there. read more
