I was visiting the Rio Grande Valley and had the opportunity to stop at this Whataburger location twice. I had visited this location in the past (when I was traveling from California to Texas) and my experience was very good. The restaurant was very clean and the service was amazing. In fact, my service was so good on my first visit (thanks to an employee named 'Emily'), I decided to return the second time. In my experience, Whataburger restaurants can be hit-or-miss. This location has been a definitive "hit" for me. The food is well-made, the restaurant and parking lot is clean and the service is top-notch. If I'm back in the Rio Grande Valley again, I'll undoubtedly stop by this location. Great job, Whataburger! It would be nice if you opened one in California (preferably close to my home in the Silicon Valley)! read more

So for those of you who are unfamiliar with Texas, this place is like McDonald's in California. It's conveniently located off freeways and the prices are inexpensive. However, this place doesn't taste as good as eating something from McDonald's BUT the portions are much larger. I think this is good place to eat at if you see one just to have the experience of eating here. Give it a try the next time you visit Texas, see if you like it! read more

This place takes forever for your order and they are fully staffed. People left because of the long wait.

So there I was, waiting for 10 minutes for someone to get to the mic and take my order. Once someone does, halfway through my order the employee deadass says "ugh omg." Like girl really? Is it that hard to take a order and put it on the screen. I get how hard it is to put no pickles on a burger and im putting you through a lot of work to do that for me but don't show it lmao. Anyway, when I give my card and pay, I have to wait an additional 15 minutes to get my order when there was no one else in line and barely anyone inside. This place is horrible, the service is bad and they take way to long to serve you your meal. And they always mess the orders up almost every single time. I ordered a patty melt but instead I got a chicken sandwich. Last night my sister got home and they did the exact same thing to her. So please listen go to another Whataburger if its 5 minutes longer of a drive then this one it doesn't matter cause I Guarantee u it will be a faster proses with way better food then this dump. read more

I'd been warned about the inefficiency of this particular location, yet decided to give it my own try. We waited 25 minutes for our order while other patrons we're being served left and right. After 25 minutes, I went to the counter to inquire and they had no idea what had happened to our order. The manager stated she was going to make our order "right now" but had no answer as to why a fast-food restaurant would take 25-30 minutes to serve us. When we finally got the order, she robotically apologized saying the kitchen lost out recipe and she had no idea why. Our order was correct when we received it and she did give us a free apple pie but I can tell you I won't be stopping at this location any more. 2 other people had warned me about this location, I should've heeded their advice. Next time, I'll drive the extra 5 minutes to go to the one in Donna. They've given me excellent service 99% of the time. I should've known better. read more
