And it's all situated basically in a U shape, with the parking lot in the middle, surrounded by 3 sides of stores. It's just large enough to have all the big names, but small enough that you don't get lost. From the middle of the parking lot, you can literally see every store. That way you don't have to wonder around aimlessly like in some larger malls. About Trader Joe's: there's isn't a convenient one near us in Queens. So, we always drive a little farther out here in Long Island. It's so much more convenient and less crowded here than in Queens. Asides from that, the location is also close to a couple of our other favorite places, such as Roosevelt Field Mall and Total Wine.

They even have outdoor games like checkers, chess, and ping-pong tables, making it a nice place to spend some time beyond shopping. As of July, stores include Valentino, AllSaints, Tumi, Thom Browne, Lululemon, The North Face, Zadig & Voltaire, and more. Every employee we spoke with was genuinely friendly and seemed happy to be there. Even the security guards smiled as we walked by. If you're looking for a nice, leisurely stroll while browsing luxury brands in a relaxed atmosphere, this is a great place to visit. Parking was even free, although I'm not sure how long that will last.

There are added opened stores in comparison to last visit and that is a good sign. There are sale prices ( 30-50 % off ) on racks for some stores we visited. There are new restaurants that opened now for business. As always, the seasonal decorations are beautiful. The place is well maintained. I scoured each floor of the Roosevelt Field mall on a treasure hunt and let me tell you, I got good use of my step counter. The Roosevelt Field mall is massive, clean, well-mapped, and perfect for a group challenge and a long day of exploring. I covered every square inch of this place- from the North and South wings to the East and West wings, alone!! Company would have been nice! I love the huge food court, and it does wonders for every palate. So many stores; Bloomingdales, JC Penny, Macy's and several other small clothing stores provided slim opportunities and did not fulfill my needs. One would think that they can find any and everything at a mall, right? Not in my case. Had I been looking for something simple, I may have not spent hours inside of Roosevelt Field mall and I would have stopped at one store. Not to be misunderstood, Roosevelt Field mall is an ideal place to look for excellent finds and thousands of people score with what they are looking for and what they are not looking for. For me, it was a no hitter this time, but I did see awesome sales with great value for the dollar. I won't count them out; I will come on another day when I am just browsing. I was in new hyde park just the other day with my family. And I had noticed they had a shopping…read morecenter across the street from were we was visiting. So I said let me explore. They had some nice stores from children place ,to Carter's children clothing store that I I shop at on a regular basis for my son.They also had a marshalls store that didn't have to much inside, for a there kind of store. I noticed there was a modells right there also but they were shut down. That was a little disappointing because I like shopping at moe's.it was still early in the morning and the gamestop store was not open yet. I also got a chance to check out, the little Halloween party store,which was pretty cool.right next to them I noticed a bed bath and beyond .And a Macy's stage store that was on the strip. Now when it was time to eat this little shopping center had a few nice places.me and family went in side a pizzeria called lavarone Italian kitchen pizzeria. Which you can dine in with social distancing. I ordered a barbecue chicken slice my wife got the pasta. And the food was pretty good the restaurant was pretty busy, and the staff was nice and courteous to me and my family. The bill wasn't bad at all I thought it would have been more.this was the first time in almost a year that me and my wife were able to dine in a restaurant, since the whole coronavirus situation. we also went to this nice sushi restaurant on the strip.they made some really good chicken fried rice at this place called mikawa Japanese restaurant. I also was over near there shake shack & bagel boss shop. Plus dont forget about the parking lot ,which is a pretty nice size. So I would have to admit this is definitely a nice little shopping area ,that gives you a little mall kinda feel.cause it seems to be very busy over there. Plus out in long island, you have inside dining, not like in the city were there is only outside dining. Nothing beats a little retail therapy! I don't come here as often as I used to, but somehow, every visit still feels special. This afternoon, I stopped by a few premium brand stores, and every shopping experience was wonderful. On top of that, I also ended up getting quite a few steps in. By the time I got back to my car, I realized how much better I felt. Sometimes, a little shopping, a lot of walking, and a familiar place are all you need to reset.
