Awesome!! Highly recommend!…read more I was traveling cross country and had some wobbling in my steering wheel. Since I just had a balance and alignment, I expected a bent rim. I'm from out of town, had to keep going, and just went to Yelp for help. Yelp didn't disappoint! These guys are great! They got me in the same day and had the problem diagnosed and fixed in less than an hour. I couldn't be happier. The price was right, too, for a last-second appointment. I totally recommend this shop!

They are efficient - I called and the man on the phone answered all of my questions and scheduled an appointment quickly and respectfully 2. As I was checking in - my car was being pulled into the shop. Meaning my appointment time was my actual appointment time. 3. There's a clean, comfortable and convenient lounge next to the check-in reception area. 4. When something unexpected happened, I was talked to like a person (as a woman I'm often talked to as though I don't have the capacity to understand mechanical things like cars), there was a plan and that plan was executed flawlessly. 5. They are committed to making every experience right - ensuring that I was safe driving and that I was happy with the final product. I 1000% recommend Alloy Wheel Repair Services in Pelham.

The gas door on my car wouldn't stay closed and my dealership shop quoted me $800. Turns out it was something simple and I really appreciate Pep Boys just handling it and not taking advantage of me

It had gotten extremely bad as I was leaving the Galleria one day (no longer just visual, now making a sound) and so I stopped quickly at this nearby Pep Boys. I walked in confused and flustered, and was met with such kindness and patience that I wasn't expecting. The employee at the desk immediately understood what was wrong through my gibberish, explained the issue & varying ways to fix it, then assured me he could handle it. What started as a dent in my fully planned day turned into no more than a brief stop as he had it good as new extremely fast, which was a lovely surprise considering I was a drop-in. Was further surprised when I was informed this job was free of charge?! I really wish I had gotten the employee's name but overall he was so extremely tentative and nice. Without a doubt will be recommending this location specifically from here on out!

Do not come here. This place is unwelcoming, staff is flat out rude, and they couldn't be bothered…read moreless with an OFFER they had on their website. I had gotten a link online for a FREE BRAKE INSPECTION. Just a basic inspection (measuring rotor/drum wear and brake fluid test) They're offering this from March 1st-31st. I set an appointment for March 8th at 1:00 pm. I come in 10 minutes early and most staff is on the phone so I walk up to one of them and he says he will get to me in a moment, so I wait and once he's done, he asks what I need. I tell him my name and my appointment, he looks it up and says, "keys". Off putting but still hand him my keys and then he asks why do I feel like I need an inspection. Truth be told, my brake was spongy and I just wanted to see if it had anything to do with my drums, rotors, brake fluid etc; Once I explained he immediately told me that I didn't "want" an inspection, and that what I "wanted" was a diagnostic and that'd it run me $160. Immediately I'm shocked because again I just wanted what's in the free offer, and I wasn't expecting them to tell me specifically why my brake was spongy or to fix it, I just wanted the inspection done and if something was wrong during that then I'd have them look into it further. But the man just refused and said that would not solve my problem. I told him "I understand that, I'm not asking you to fix it or to tell my why brake is spongy, I just want the free inspection done just in case," and he still sat there arguing with me that no it'll be a diagnostic, so $160. I just told him to give me my keys and I left. I went outside, baffled for a minute, and I thought maybe I read the offer wrong who knows? I go back and see and nope it says what I think it says "will measure rotor/drum wear and perform a brake fluid test" so I GO BACK into the store and show him the offer and read word for word. And he still looks at me and continues to say it'll be a diagnostic, I just wanted the free inspection. So all I had was my time wasted when I could've gotten it checked somewhere else with no problem! STAY AWAY FROM HERE. P.S. I called the manager afterwards and he said that his employee was only "explaining" that the inspection won't guarantee that I might find out why my brake is spongy and that it might not even have anything to do with my drums/rotors/brake fluid etc: again, I UNDERSTAND THAT, but I just wanted the offer done which was to get my rotors/drums checked and my brake fluid checked. Had they just REDEEMED the offer that was on THEIR website, maybe they would've been the ones fixing it afterwards.

Older car, is a crap shoot. Sometimes I'll take my older car in and they'll do what needs to be done and make a few recommendations. Other times, I've been handed a wish list of thousands. Sometimes, they're necessary for safety issues. If it's too much more than expected, I'll go get a second opinion. Sometimes the recommendations are the same, other times I've been told to save my money. So I'll continue to get alignments from here. Location is pretty busy and it's close to the interstate, so it's not unheard of for a car to be bumped, even if it's a scheduled appointment.

DO NOT GO HERE! THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES, CROOKS, AND LIARS! I went here to repair a leak on ONE of…read moremy tires. It wasn't flat and I was able to drive on it. Multiple things went very wrong for what should have been a very simple repair. First, they couldn't find the key to the wheel lock. They spent forever looking for it and then told me they were gonna have to break the wheel lock off (for an additional charge ofcourse). I asked to look myself and was able to find it in two seconds. It was in plain view on the back seat floor, which is where I told them to look. In the midst of all this, the guy tries to sell me 4 new tires for $890. Mind you there is absolutely nothing wrong with the rest of my tires. My car is only 3 years old and was brand new straight off the lot. I am the only person to ever drive this car. In the middle of his spiel, I tell him no but he ignores me and keeps going. I say no because there is absolutely nothing wrong with my other tires. The entire time I sat in the waiting room they were trying to sell people crap and offer "coupons". Eventually, They are able to look at the wheel and then let me know it just needed a plug. The total came out to $24. I was more than happy with this, thanked them, and got in my car to leave. When I get in my car, it lights up like a Christmas tree. It's saying the collision sensor and a couple of other things are malfunctioning. I go back in and let them know. Then they tell me the battery charge must be low because it may have gotten "cold". I don't know how my battery would've gotten "cold" in the few hours they had my car at that point. Also, why were they doing anything with the battery when I was there for a tire. They claimed they just needed to charge the battery and it would be a quick fix. Annoying, but fine and I go back to the wait room. After about 45 minutes, they come and tell me my battery has magically "died". Again, this car is brand new and only 3 years old. I had a used car from the same brand for much longer that never needed a battery the entire time I had it. There was nothing wrong with my battery beforehand and I got an oil change not too long ago and nothing was wrong with the battery then. They tell me I'm going to need an ENTIRELY NEW BATTERY for $300! Naturally, after this I become irate. I told them it doesn't make sense for my battery to die out of nowhere from the time I brought it into to the shop til then. The guy is giving me an endless amount of excuses about how he's had the same thing happen where he goes to a dealership for one thing and they find a bunch of other issues. During the exchange, the mechanic who worked on the car was standing there and in the middle of it he leaves and goes back to my car. I tell the guy at the counter to give me my damn keys and I'm taking it to another dealership to look at. He brings the car and lets me know that the warning messages have gone away and everything looks fine now. Isn't that funny :) ? 5 minutes prior I had a dead battery that needed to be replaced right away and now it's magically fixed. There is not a doubt in my mind that once they realized the initial repair would cost next to nothing, they messed with the sensors in my car and gave me some bullshit story about the battery. After I made quite the scene, told them I wasn't going to buy a new battery, and would take it to another dealership, the mechanic undid whatever damaged he caused to the sensors to get me out of there and cover their asses. These people are SALESMAN. The only thing they care about is pocketing as much of your money as possible and will try to sell you crap you don't need and even go as far as messing with your vehicle. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED AND LIED TO.
