Came in saw 3 people working not one of them addressed me or the man waiting in front of me. No eye contact, no greetings...not even we will be with you shortly. They weren't with other clients either but were punching in things on their computer. They looked like call center operators and not in person attendants or consultants. Waited 5 mins while the man in front of me joked about them pretending not to see us standing there. I went to Good Year and was immediately taken care of. Never coming back to or recommending this customer avoidant place. Go where the workers aren't all Gen Z robots without customer service training. Do any of them know how to speak? Nope. This world is doomed if the next generation doesn't learn to make eye contact and talk to people like humans. It's a basic skill. Parents do better. read more

So many positives and no negatives! Noted a tire that seems to get low on air faster than the other tires. I was able to make an online appointment for the same day to get my tires inspected. No charge. They found a nail in my tire and repaired it. No charge. In and out in less than an hour. Large waiting room with comfy chairs, Keurig, and small snacks. Super nice employees. I would name names, but I came into contact with three and all three were nice! Austin was the one that I interacted with the most. They may not have made any money off of me today, but they got me in the door with their free inspection and repair.....and bet that I will now be a loyal customer in the future. I went in for a slow leak in one tire. They fixed my leak for no cost and I bought some windshield wipers for a very reasonable price. My car was ready in less than an hour. I highly recommend this business but be sure to make an appointment first. read more

I needed new tires so I was happy to see this location had opened near me! I called out here and spoke with Garrett a couple weeks back to get a quote. He was so nice and helpful on the phone and I was pleased with the quote so I came in a few days later and got four new tires! Since this location is right by Galleria, I dropped my car off and came back to pick it up later. They do have several seats inside and tables with phone charging ports (no drink or snack machine) in case anyone does have to wait like I'm doing today. Why am I back so soon? I'm back today because I randomly hit something sharp near a curb and busted one of the brand new tires! ::facepalm:: I called and Garrett answered, he said the warranty would take care of it! I originally purchased my tires at the Hwy 280 location over a year ago but was pleasantly surprised that a new location was closer to my home. This one which is in the circle around the Galleria in Hoover is now my favorite tire center. I used to shop at NTB but they closed their Galleria location a few years ago. I guess when one door shuts another one opens up. The general manger Jessie and the assistant manager Josh were both super friendly, very knowledgeable and worked very hard to earn my business. They worked me into the schedule and that really helped me to be able to return back to work. (my truck pulls a trailer and hauls a lot every day). I really appreciate their professionalism, courtesy and attention to the customers needs like mine. 10/10. I had a flat tire yesterday, so I needed a new tire. I decided to get them all replaced since it was nearing that time anyway. Discount Tire has amazing customer service and got me out of there in an hour and a half (which is amazing considering they had to drive across town to get the tires; glad I came on a slower day). My car, unfortunately, takes a "special order" tire, but they had them in stock at their other location! Most places I called before I chose them said that it would be a 2-7 business day wait to get my tires in. With this being our only car that can hold my whole family, this was not an option. The tires Jessie recommended were rated higher in safety than the tires I had already, and they were a little bit cheaper and have a great warranty. I was at the mall delivering some students to their parents from out of state when our school van's tire valve stem busted. It was the end of the day and I got to their store a few minutes before they closed. I was obviously last in line but they took care of the van even though it was well after closing. Great service and super helpful and friendly. They replaced the valve stem and checked all of the tires to make sure everything was good. To my surprise, they did the work as a charitable contribution to our small private boarding school. Very thankful for such kindness when on the road hours away from home in another state. read more
