Frankie's Review - 3/5…read more While in town, we decided to visit Frankie's after it was recommended to me by my boss, and this time I had my husband and 12-year-old son with me. Overall, it was a nice way to spend time together as a family and gave us something fun to do during our visit. Frankie's offers a good variety of attractions, and my son especially enjoyed the rides, including the claw, roller coaster, and zero gravity experience. We also played putt-putt golf, which was enjoyable, though I personally found the course a bit less challenging than similar places I've visited before. The road course was also on the shorter side, but still fun for what it offered. One thing I would note is that the pricing felt a bit high, particularly for the arcade games and rides, especially considering some of the experiences are fairly brief. We also found the pizza to be a little overpriced, so we chose other food options as well as their burger and Philly cheesesteak. Unfortunately, one part of the experience that stood out in a less positive way was the customer service around some of the attractions. Several of the attendants seemed very nonchalant and disengaged, almost as if they were not very happy to be there. That kind of energy can affect the overall atmosphere and, for me, made it less likely that I would return or recommend it. We also had to wait for attendants to assist with some of the more interactive 3D-style games, which interrupted the flow of the experience. That being said, one of my personal favorites ended up being the carnival 3D shooting game, even though we did have to wait for an attendant before we could play. Once we got on, it was definitely one of the more enjoyable parts of the visit for me. On the positive side, it was not crowded during our visit, which made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I especially enjoyed spending time in the arcade with my family, and that ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. I also want to mention our experience in the bar area with Olivia Jackson, who provided such warm and pleasant service. She was courteous, attentive, and truly showed genuine Southern hospitality. Her kindness and professionalism made us want to stay longer, and we ended up enjoying our food and family time even more because of her. She was definitely one of the bright spots of our visit. Overall, while I have visited similar entertainment venues that I personally enjoyed more, Frankie's still provided a decent family outing and a different experience while we were in town. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

My daughter occasionally convinces me to go here and I'm reminded every time that I hate it. I will say, however, that my interactions with the staff are pleasant. They're friendly and helpful. They are only reason this isn't a 1 star review. Stars and Strikes is a much better deal for similar fun imo.

We sat inside but there was plenty of outdoor space that would be perfect on a beautiful day. They also constantly have food trucks and the schedule is listed on their website. The interior vibe is so fun and fresh. And it is absolutely reflected in their cider. I don't think there was one that I didn't like. There were definitely some I liked more than other but everything was quite tasty. I tried the Off Main, Upside Down, and Sweet Carolina. I should have gotten some cans or growlers to take home but will try to do that next time. I want to come back to try the Bludacris! Thanks to the bartenders for being so knowledgeable and friendly.

I had such an enjoyable time hanging out at this place. They are even thoughtful enough to give you samples of the cider as well as giving you a full rundown on the flavor profile as you sip and taste. Also, they are not stingy with their sampling - which is so cool. They have a game room off to the right of the entrance for those who wish to get their game-on. Large screens TV's are available for your perusal as well. Very comfortable place with a wide range of seating to relax on as you sip your libations. I'll be back! #bullcitydrm

Came here as a surprise birthday activity for someone who wanted to try out virtual reality. The staff was very helpful and super into describing how things work and throughout the experience. The walls are padded for the possibility that you walk into them, which I did a couple times. You have a staff member also warn you if you're going to hit the wall or even the person you came with, which I also did. As for the game selection, there are popular games such as Among Us and the light saber to music. We asked for suggestions since there were so many options. Some you can play alone or some you can tag team with or play against the people you came with. In our 70 min session, we probably played 5 games, trying out a full round for each game. I suggest Battle Magic for the Harry Potter/wizard fans out there (don't forget to look up, down, and behind you!). Even if you're not into virtual reality or playing video games, I'm sure it would be interesting to watch as a spectator as you can see what the players are seeing on a TV. They have some light refreshments available for purchase. Merchandise is also available for purchase in a wide variety of sizes. Transactions were almost completely touchless. You can pay with the card used to book or you can pay with another method. I suggest wearing something comfortable as some games will have you bend and move around. If you have a longer session, wearing comfortable shoes as you will be standing a lot. You may experience a little dizziness during and after if you're not used to immersive experiences since it really is a whole world you're in. I save 5 stars for the really great experiences and this one is one of them!

A big thumbs up for my first VR experience…read more We took a group of 6 here and the team running this place were rock stars letting us know what to do. We played for 30 minutes which in hind site was not enough. It took us a while to figure out the controllers if that makes sense. Here are some tips. Let people know your name. We picked names like 'hero' which was cute but no one knew who I was until we were all screaming at each other our game names and forgetting Arrive a few minutes early so you get your full 30 min or whatever. There are disclaimers you sign. Etc. Listen to the rules and tips. In several games I was several minutes in before I figured out why I could not teleport or something. I should have listened better. It was fun though. My nephew had his birthday party here and said it was good. I would come here again.
