Took my team there. We were like 50 group of people. It was an awesome experience thank you for the team for helping us set it up so everyone was happy and enjoying the adventure.

Absolutely incredible, great staff. We had my Bonus Son's Birthday there and it was a blast. Great facility, good prices, excellent staff. Would definitely recommend. The only down side was you need a reservation to do anything besides paintball and air soft. But we wanted to paintball so it worked out. Maybe they should add some flexibility in that rule.

Really love Xtreme park adventures! They offer diverse activities from all ages, such as gem mining and laser tag for younger kids or those who aren't ready to put themselves through the challenge of paintball and airsoft. Personally though, I really love the ropes course and when I just want to relax and enjoy the view I go for their incredible zipline course. Although the quick drop is intimidating, the instructors at Xtreme always take their time to help me build the courage and make me feel safe and secure with their equipment. I've been going to Xtreme often over the summer as it's a nice way to take a vacation right here in the Durham-raleigh area. Jeremy was kind enough to give my family and I a sneak peek at the escape rooms they have on site and we can't wait to give the lab a try. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get some bucket list items done or just challenge themselves.

My friend and I took our daughters ages 8 & 9 here for some gem mining last weekend. They had a blast! The staff was friendly. The place was clean. They got a lot of gems and fossils for the price along with a cute storage bag and information/fact card for their gems. Location was easy to find. Property was clean and well taken care of. We didn't do any other activities there but it was fairly busy.

This is a great place to go to if you're a newbie to paintball. I came here with a group of 6 and we rented out a private group $200 for 3 hours and the groupon was $20 with mask and 200 paintballs. Our referee was super friendly, knowledgeable, and offered a ton of different game modes we could play. We played on 4 different fields and thought city hall was the most fun. Definitely would come back to paintball again

Frankie's Review - 3/5…read more While in town, we decided to visit Frankie's after it was recommended to me by my boss, and this time I had my husband and 12-year-old son with me. Overall, it was a nice way to spend time together as a family and gave us something fun to do during our visit. Frankie's offers a good variety of attractions, and my son especially enjoyed the rides, including the claw, roller coaster, and zero gravity experience. We also played putt-putt golf, which was enjoyable, though I personally found the course a bit less challenging than similar places I've visited before. The road course was also on the shorter side, but still fun for what it offered. One thing I would note is that the pricing felt a bit high, particularly for the arcade games and rides, especially considering some of the experiences are fairly brief. We also found the pizza to be a little overpriced, so we chose other food options as well as their burger and Philly cheesesteak. Unfortunately, one part of the experience that stood out in a less positive way was the customer service around some of the attractions. Several of the attendants seemed very nonchalant and disengaged, almost as if they were not very happy to be there. That kind of energy can affect the overall atmosphere and, for me, made it less likely that I would return or recommend it. We also had to wait for attendants to assist with some of the more interactive 3D-style games, which interrupted the flow of the experience. That being said, one of my personal favorites ended up being the carnival 3D shooting game, even though we did have to wait for an attendant before we could play. Once we got on, it was definitely one of the more enjoyable parts of the visit for me. On the positive side, it was not crowded during our visit, which made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I especially enjoyed spending time in the arcade with my family, and that ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. I also want to mention our experience in the bar area with Olivia Jackson, who provided such warm and pleasant service. She was courteous, attentive, and truly showed genuine Southern hospitality. Her kindness and professionalism made us want to stay longer, and we ended up enjoying our food and family time even more because of her. She was definitely one of the bright spots of our visit. Overall, while I have visited similar entertainment venues that I personally enjoyed more, Frankie's still provided a decent family outing and a different experience while we were in town. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

I am going out of my chaotically busy day to leave this review, because I mean every word and I am not a "cheerleading" parent. I generally don't care for places like this because I have to sit in a hard chair and wait until he's finished playing. I want to play WITH him! This place, UA, has so much going on! My child and this mama (me) had an amazingly fantastic time! It was fun wading through the clear bubble pit. It seriously is a good workout, plus, walking the plank is a bonus. The trampolines are just as fun as all the other trampolines BUT it wasn't nearly as crowded; no accidents means even more fun (for me)! Then, I saw the go carts and realized that MAMAS COULD DRIVE- not just kids and people running the exhibit!!!! Since my little monkey isn't big enough to reach the pedals, I got to be the driver. It was so much fun that we went probably 5 times before UA closed. My kid thought it was the greatest thing ever when another mama entered the track and we locked eyes as way of greeting, we both knew what needed to be done: a race so epic that the camera couldn't keep up to take a picture. The photo of us smiling is after the go carts. Genuinely smiles = really excellent memories. It is NOT cheap. It is substantially more than places like Safari Nation, literally any of the museums (the one in Raleigh is probably the closest in price) and of the other places for kids that I am blanking on. To be a parent/member and get to also use the go-karts, each kid is roughly $110 for 6 months of prepaid unlimited play. It's $60 for an annual membership for parents and allows them to use any of the exhibits that they wish, including go karts! So for $170-180 you are able to go as many times as you want for 6 months. If you pay full price for 6 months and add it all up, you come up with There isn't much of a discount for paying in full for 12 months.

With temperatures soaring, it felt like the perfect place to spend the afternoon, especially knowing the kids could cool off in the park's interactive water features. From the moment we arrived, it was clear why Gipson Play Plaza has quickly become one of Raleigh's most beloved public spaces. Spanning 18.5 acres, it's the largest adventure playground in the Southeast, thoughtfully designed with climbing towers, imaginative play spaces, gardens, public art, and sweeping views of the Raleigh skyline. Parking was plentiful, making it easy to start exploring. Our first stop was the beautifully restored House of Many Porches Market, where you'll find snacks, cold drinks, indoor restrooms, and a welcome escape from the summer heat before heading back outside for more adventure. The children loved moving from one area to the next: running through the water play features, climbing, exploring, and discovering something new around nearly every corner. One of the most memorable moments of our visit was feeding the fish, a quiet pause that became an unexpected highlight amid all the excitement. One thing to note is that on especially hot days, some of the metal slides may be temporarily closed for safety. While completely understandable, it can be a little disappointing for children eager to experience every part of the playground. If I could change one thing, it would simply be adding more traditional swings on the playground. That's purely personal preference, though, and certainly didn't take away from what is an incredibly well-designed space. Gipson Play Plaza is more than just a playground: it's a place where families can comfortably spend an entire afternoon. Between the thoughtful amenities, imaginative design, and variety of activities, it's easy to understand why it's become a destination for both locals and visitors alike. Despite the summer heat, we had a wonderful time, and I can already picture how beautiful it will be to return on a crisp fall morning.
