We spent about three hours exploring Mix-Tape and still felt like we could have discovered even more. Every room is filled with hidden details, secret passageways, interactive elements, music, lights, and artwork that constantly encourages you to slow down and look a little closer. The experience is whimsical, nostalgic, and surprisingly thought-provoking all at the same time. One of the things I appreciated most was learning about the mission behind Factory Obscura. The exhibit isn't just beautiful--it was created by local artists who are supported for their work. Knowing that the installation continues to evolve with contributions from more than 100 artists made me appreciate every room even more. As a travel photographer, I loved photographing the exhibit. Every corner offered a completely different color palette, texture, or composition. The special diffraction glasses they provide make the lighting even more magical, so don't skip using them while you explore. My advice? Wear comfortable shoes, plan for at least 2-3 hours, and don't rush through it. Open every drawer, look through every little window, touch everything you're allowed to touch, and if you're able, crawl through the hidden passages--you'll discover details most people walk right past. Whether you're traveling with kids, visiting as a couple, hanging out with friends, or exploring solo, Factory Obscura is one of the most creative and memorable attractions we've experienced. It's colorful, imaginative, and unlike anything else in Oklahoma City. We left inspired and would absolutely visit again the next time we're in town.

My son and three friends went to Andretti's to celebrate his 11th birthday. We did run into an…read moreissue with the karting experience, but I'm updating this to 4 stars because Andretti's ultimately handled the situation well. All four boys were at or above the posted 54" minimum height for the Intermediate/Teen karts, which Andretti advertises as reaching up to 25 mph. The website lists them as "recommended for ages 12+," rather than stating 12 as a firm minimum, and Andretti's site also explains that recommendations may be waived by management. I had called the day before specifically to make sure I understood the requirements. Holly was very helpful, explained that I should arrive early to schedule the races, and confirmed that the boys should be able to ride the Intermediate karts. Nothing was mentioned about a different weekend restriction. When we arrived, however, we were told that on weekends Andretti's has a strict 12+ requirement for Intermediate karts regardless of height. The boys were instead placed in the Junior karts, advertised as reaching "up to 20 mph." Unfortunately, that race was pretty underwhelming. The Junior karts appeared to be throttled down considerably, a lap took less than 25 seconds, one of the boys' karts repeatedly slowed or shut down, and there really wasn't much actual racing happening. For four 11-year-olds who were there specifically to race, it was disappointing, especially given the cost. I spoke with the track supervisor and then the front desk, explained that we had called ahead and been given different information, and asked whether the boys might be able to ride the Intermediate karts or receive some sort of discounted or complimentary experience. At the time, I was simply told that the weekend age requirement was strict and that we could come back during the week. I also asked where that restriction was disclosed on the website or waiver. From what I could find, the website says "recommended for ages 12+," not "must be 12+," and the waiver does not specify a 12-year-old minimum for Intermediate karts. My biggest criticism remains that if there is a strict weekend-only age requirement, it should be clearly stated online and communicated when customers call ahead. That said, Rudy, the Assistant General Manager, reached out afterward and did a great job making things right. He offered the boys additional attractions and, more importantly, genuinely listened to the feedback about clearly stating the weekend age requirement. I appreciated that he didn't dismiss the concern and seemed to take the suggestion seriously. So I've updated my original review to 4 stars. The initial experience and communication were frustrating, and I still think the weekend karting rules need to be much clearer, but I also believe businesses deserve credit when management responds appropriately and makes a real effort to correct the situation. Rudy did that, and it changed my overall impression of the experience.

We went with a group. There was so much confusion with the staff. They had several people working with our group and they were all telling us different things. Even the hungry kids wouldn't eat it. I think they were in such a hurry to get us out of there. They wouldn't wait the extra five minutes to finish cooking the pizza. I stepped out in the hallway and two female workers were there. One said " are they gonna eat more pizza ?" And they other said "No, they're leaving . Thank God!" To which the other replied, " Good!yeah right, thank God!" That was nice. Always makes a good impression with your guests. Arcade cards didn't work on all the games. Then none of our tickets could be cashed in for prizes. Neither of these would've made it terrible, but the attitudes of the staff did. Oh... and the raw pizza.

They went ahead and let us play and didn't charge us. They also waited until we were done to close up. Customer service and satisfaction here is definitely taken seriously. They were so nice to accommodate us considering they had already closed. The course is a really fun course that is located right next to the Bricktown Canal. They also have a building on the other side of the canal with arcade games and laser tag. This is a fun spot if your looking for some fun activities to do in Bricktown, and they will make sure that you're taken care of!

The indoor and outdoor waterpark tickets appeared under the same purchasing link, and we believed the $44.99 ticket allowed us to choose either the indoor or outdoor waterpark. We intended to choose the indoor park because that is where the lazy river is, and the temperature outside was nearly 100 degrees. When we arrived, however, we were told that our tickets were valid for the outdoor park only and that indoor access would cost $79.99 per person. Since we only planned to stay for 2 hours, paying nearly $80 each was unreasonable. We asked to speak with a manager but were told that managers do not speak with guests about these concerns and that we had to send an email. I emailed at 12:06 p.m. while we were still at the resort. By 7:42 p.m., I had received no response, despite being told that the managers were there and one would respond quickly. Once outside, we discovered that there was very little complimentary shade. The few regular umbrellas were already taken, while numerous shaded cabanas sat empty. There were also many tables with umbrella sticks but no umbrellas. According to the website, a cabana costs approximately $167 and must be reserved online. Had the admission price remained at the $29.99 rate we saw earlier, we might have considered renting one. However, after the outdoor ticket price increased to more than $40 per person, paying another $167 just to have relief from the sun felt excessive. The lounge chairs inside the adults-only sitting pool did not have umbrellas, so we were essentially baking in direct sunlight. I eventually became faint while walking to get water and felt as though I might pass out. We ultimately had to leave because it was simply too hot to remain outside safely. An employee confirmed that ticket prices change daily. Variable pricing may be part of OKANA's policy, but guests paying an increased price still receive the same outdoor experience: extreme heat, minimal complimentary shade, and no access to the indoor amenities unless they pay more. Watching 20+ cabanas remain empty while guests struggled to find shade made us feel that basic comfort and safety were secondary to generating additional revenue. There were positives. The drinks were really good, we enjoyed the swim-up bar before it became crowded, and the food was served hot, quickly, and tasted good. The staff members we interacted with were pleasant. Those positives are why I am giving two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, they did not make up for the confusing ticket information, insufficient complimentary shade during extreme heat, inability to speak with a manager, and lack of a timely response while we were still on the property. OKANA should consider a inside or outside ticket option especially on extreme heat days and make the difference between indoor and outdoor tickets unmistakably clear by having a separate link as it currently is confusing that you can not choose between indoor or outdoor, provide significantly more complimentary shaded seating, and have a manager available to address time-sensitive guest concerns on-site.
