We stopped by Andretti last night just to take a look, and I have to say, the facility is…read moreimpressive. The go-karts look amazing, the track has a professional feel, and the upstairs viewing area is a great touch. Being able to watch the races from above was really cool. There were seven of us, and after seeing everything, we decided to give the karts a try. Unfortunately, we all came away a little disappointed with the actual racing experience. The biggest issue was the track itself. It's very narrow, which makes passing another kart extremely difficult without bumping or risking a crash. Most of the race ended up being a line of karts following each other. While the timing system focuses on your fastest lap, many people come to race against each other and pass each other and not just compete for lap times. Not much fun in that. If you're not the lead kart, the drivers in front of you can significantly affect your lap time, and there just isn't enough room to safely pass them. If you're fine with competing for lap times make sure you get yourself in the lead kart so there is a less chance of someone in front of you slowing you down. The only way you can get slowed down as the lead kart is if you catch up to the very last kart if that makes sense. Another frustration was the karts frequently slowing down on and then picks up speed. You will have the pedal to the metal and you will experience the karts losing power or speed. I'm assuming this is part of the track's safety system, but it happened often enough that it interrupted the flow of the race and made the experience less enjoyable. We had just returned from a trip to Dallas where we spent a few hours racing at K1 Speed, so of course theres going to be a comparison. We were really expecting Andretti to blow away K1 speed especially because were from Edmond and wouldn't have to drive all the way down to Dallas to have a good race. While Andretti's facility, karts, and overall presentation are definitely nicer, we actually enjoyed the racing at K1 Speed more. Their track is wider, which allows for real passing opportunities and lets you spend more time at full speed. The Karts at K1 speed will also slow down when there's an accident ahead, but once the track is clear, you're quickly back to racing. You will spend more time at K1 speed at max speed and than at Andrettis and the races feel more real and are more enjoyable at K1 Speed. I will say Andretti is a way better looking track and so are their Karts. Andretti does have better pricing than K1 Speed and they also offer a 20% military discount. That is huge. I love all businesses that support our troops. If you're looking for a place to have a good time with the family, Andretti's has it all. Laser tag, a huge arcade room, and food. I believe they also have a bar. If you're looking for a more realistic racing experience check out K1 Speed racing in Texas if you're willing to make the drive. Hopefully Andretti will make some changes with their track. if the track were a little wider and the safety system allowed for a bit more uninterrupted racing, I think the experience would be much more enjoyable.

We went with a group. There was so much confusion with the staff. They had several people working with our group and they were all telling us different things. It took well over an hour to get us on the racetrack. Then we had lunch in an event room. They served us undercooked pizza.... I pulled on a piece and it was raw dough. Even the hungry kids wouldn't eat it. I think they were in such a hurry to get us out of there. They wouldn't wait the extra five minutes to finish cooking the pizza. I stepped out in the hallway and two female workers were there. One said " are they gonna eat more pizza ?" And they other said "No, they're leaving . Thank God!" To which the other replied, " Good!yeah right, thank God!" That was nice. Always makes a good impression with your guests. Arcade cards didn't work on all the games. Then none of our tickets could be cashed in for prizes. Neither of these would've made it terrible, but the attitudes of the staff did. Oh... and the raw pizza.

She loves miniature golf, so I was going to take her to try out the mini golf at Brickopolis. Unfortunately, they were closed when their hours said open. I called them and was told they closed early due to it being so slow that evening. I told them we were really looking forward to mini golf. The manager said give me a second and I'll come out there. They went ahead and let us play and didn't charge us. They also waited until we were done to close up. Customer service and satisfaction here is definitely taken seriously. They were so nice to accommodate us considering they had already closed. The course is a really fun course that is located right next to the Bricktown Canal. They also have a building on the other side of the canal with arcade games and laser tag. This is a fun spot if your looking for some fun activities to do in Bricktown, and they will make sure that you're taken care of!

The garage parking is $25 and if you leave and come back it's $25 each time and you have to pay another $25 after 24 hours. If you lose your wristband it's $75. Aside from that we were ready for fun. We got in the second elevator and it lurched and stopped. It finally opened on a different floor than ours so we decided to walk. When we got to the room the room safe didn't work so maintenance had to be called to fix it. We found the smokehouse to be pretty good. The nachos were great but the three meat platter wasn't the best. We went to Curveballs and the wait was crazy so the bartender who was fabulous felt sorry for us and got us a table. The food took a really long time and wasn't very good but the sweet bartender comped our food. The second night the fire alarm went off which isn't the hotels fault but the next morning at nine another alarm went off for no apparent reason. I think where Okana shines is the very fun waterpark, arcade, and cute shops. We loved the slides and the wait wasn't long and loved the Enchanted River. We also really enjoyed the outdoor beach. We would never stay at Okana again because our rooms were like $800 a night. In the future we may get a day pass for the waterpark but we just felt like the hotel was mismanaged and way overpriced!

Our captain Marcus had a great sense of humor and had historical knowledge about Bricktown that we never would have known. I definitely recommend finding a seat under the tarp, it was comfortable there. The whole process from getting the tickets to getting off the boat was very smooth and easy. We paid $15 for a 45 min. Boat ride. Worth every penny! Our driver, David, was awesome we were laughing the entire time. It's a quick 30-45 minute water cruise on a man‑made canal that's only about 3-4 feet deep, so you definitely have to go in with the right mindset and make the best of it. Our taxi wasn't too crowded, and since we had time to kill, it ended up being a perfect, easy outing. Trying to avoid a crowded ride is definitely recommended. The ride doesn't stop, not that seen!
