I visited Where Faeries Live for the first time today and I can tell you I will definitely be going back. First, clearly the owner takes great pride in her store. Everything is so neat and organized. This is the first store I've been to where all the stones are clearly, accurately labeled and priced. I thought it was such a great idea to have the stones contained in clear jars complete with lids which minimizes the chance that someone will take one out to look at and end up putting it in the wrong spot when they're done with it - it seems that's a common way some shops become disorganized. Debra, the owner, is very knowledgeable and inviting. While we were there she did not push anything on us to up sell, she simply let us take our time and enjoy our visit to the maximum. The fact that she's in it for the love of all mystical things and not to rob naive people is enough on its own to keep me coming back. The quality of the stones in WFL is brilliant. I was able to find things here that I've never seen before, or even heard of. The prices per stone were reasonable and there's something for every budget it seems. Great selection of wiccan and pagan supplies and books. They also carry some beautiful corsets and outfits. I accidentally stumbled across this shop. I like faeiries so I had to go inside to check it out. There are a lot of interesting things in this store: faery figurines, tarot cards, Wiccan books, corsets, jewelry, incense, candles, greeting cards, stickers, local artwork and precious stones. I found all of the various stones and their qualities intriguing, so I bought five them. The woman who assisted me- I assume she was the owner- was very friendly and helpful in explaining the purpose and use of the stones. I liked my first visit here and I will return in the future to get more stones. read more

Excellent service. All of our questions were answered thoroughly. You can tell the ladies choose only the best to showcase in the shop. They were very friendly and welcoming and we found everything we were looking for. After checking out a few metaphysical shops in the area this one was our favorite. My friend and I stopped in here today for their Crystalpalooza event. I thought it was nice that they were not only showcasing their own offerings but also allowed several other talented local artisans to set up tables in their back room. We got some really great deals here today but I felt like even if your going here on a normal non sale day the regular prices are pretty reasonable. It's a really nice blend of items that would attract those deeply in tune with the pagan lifestyle as well as those who enjoy spiritual shops for the more whimsical things like faerie statues. When their not playing host to these type of events that back area is used for a variety of really interesting classes. I for one am hoping to make it out for the one on how crystals can be used effectively around the home. Don't just take my word for it though...definitely check it out for yourself if spiritual stores intrigue you at all. read more

Two weeks ago my daughter and I stopped in to Where Faeries Live in hopes of finding some grounding stones and many other items to assist us in keeping ourselves centered with all that is happening in today's world. Now I understand completely that we are in a different time where we all must take precautions in order to keep eachother safe and healthy. As we got out of our car, a lady quickly opened the store door and informed us to stay where we were, that only one person could be in the store (2 if family) that she already had a client inside and that we must wear masks and use hand sanitizer before we entered. She said she would let us know when we could come in. I informed her that we had our masks and we would wait. After 30 minutes of standing on the street (wearing our masks) she had not come out once to let us know how much longer we would need to wait let alone offer any other kind of customer service. After discussing it with each other, my daughter and I decided it was time to leave as the one customer could possibly be in the shop for hours. Now I completely get that everyone is nervous and afraid with all that is transpiring in our world, but when you go to a spiritual shop I personally would hope that the energy surrounding the crystals,cards, candles etc. would have more of a positive flow then one of fear. We then traveled to Stony Plain to The Gypsy chicks and were received with kindness, calmness and love. I highly recommend taking the drive to Gypsy Chicks if looking for spiritual items. The energy is highly positive, calm and offers a sense of healing rather then panic, the complete opposite of what we felt from Where fairies live. The staff were helpful without in crouching in our space and we purchased many beautiful items that we adore. It will be my spiritual shop for good moving forward. read more

The store is extremely over priced, the owner doesn't seem to know her crystals or simply doesn't care because many of stones she sells are not real and simply dyed, cheaper stones. The same with her jewelry. The energy in the store is extremely bad and after getting an overpriced and extremely bad reading from her store reader I would not recommend spending a penny on her over inflated and poor reading. Oddly this owner gets her friends to post "good" reviews in response to any speaking the truth about how terrible this business is. read more
