There are a lot of things to see and be tempted to buy. In general there are a lot delicate and breakable items in this store. If you bring young kids in here, or even accident prone adults, I would advise being extra careful. I find there is enough space to maneuver around items. At the front of the store they've got some pretty cute items for fairy gardens. They have quite a selection of miniature figurines such as fairies or miniature gnomes. Where the cashiers are at the front, there are different colours and kinds of mala necklaces, under a display case. They also have a wide selection of Buddha figurines as well as other religious deities throughout the store. The have different sizes of figurines too. One wall has various dream catchers on display. The far side of the store has an impressive selection of different kinds of incense, incense holders, candles and essential oils. They also have various Himalayan salt lamps. A large portion, I'd say about half of the store is full of New Age types of books and CDs. But in between and on top of the shelves there are more items to see. At the very back they have a wonderful display of various gem stones, crystals and beautiful jewelry. This is my favourite part of the store. You can learn a lot about what the stones mean. Overall, I think this is an awesome store to check out! There's a lot to see and lots of tempting things to buy. I discovered this very small Catholic bookstore in a south side strip mall. It carries a selection…read moreof books, mostly on Catholic topics but with some general Christian titles as well, music, Rosaries, prayer books, Communion items, prayer cards, and pamphlets on all kinds of issues affecting the Catholic church and its followers. I found the prices on some of the items to be lower than in regular Christian bookstores, particularly some items of jewelry, and the clerk was non-intrusive and let everyone in the store browse in peace. I believe those who work here (some of them, anyways) are volunteers, but I could be wrong. If you are Catholic and looking for inspirational gifts and items for home and worship, this is definitely a jam-packed little store that makes maximum use of a small space.

If you're like me and you like vintage books and hunting for these types of goodies you'll really like Alhambra. You can find all sorts of cool stuff here that you never even knew you were looking for. The staff are very kind and helpful as well! If you need help finding something they're always eager to help. I like it here because there's a lot to look at and there's a lot of gems tucked away in the shelves. If you're looking for a cool gift or something to add to your collection you can almost always find something here. A big chunk of my vintage medical collection I've found from here. There's a lot of interesting history and there's books on pretty much any topic. Woodworking book from 1953? Check. Massive book about garden herbs? Check. Vintage 60's textbook on experimental psychology? Check. Midwifery manual from 1940? Check. If you're in the area, stick your head in and wander around. I purchased a Santevia water filter tank listed as "on sale." It was only after I paid that the…read moreinvoice noted the item was "cracked" and "damaged". This is a major safety risk for a water filtration system, yet my original receipt made no mention of this damage. When I immediately contacted the owner, Wanda, to cancel, she refused. She claimed the order had "already shipped" and could not be stopped. She tried to justify selling broken safety equipment by claiming the damage was disclosed, but that text was buried far down the page, well below the "Add to Cart" button where it was intentionally difficult to see. Wanda eventually agreed to refund the item but refused to refund the shipping cost ($28.35), claiming it was too late because the item had shipped. This was a lie. The tracking number confirmed the package never left their facility; the status remained "Label Created" for a week. Most egregiously, Wanda admitted in a later email that she did void the label and received a full refund from Canada Post. She explicitly stated she was retaining my shipping funds to cover "the time it took" to process the order. She essentially admitted to pocketing money for a service (Freight) she never rendered and for which she was fully reimbursed. To make matters worse, they have already re-listed the cracked, unsafe tank on their website, likely hoping the next buyer won't notice. Do not trust this business.

They are amazing, friendly and accommodating.
