Nonetheless we bought a few cards and lesser priced things, only to be treated so rudely at check out. The owner (or cashier, we don't know), didn't even look us in the eye as she rang up our orders. She never said hello, goodbye, or thank you. It was so dismissive. We rang up our orders at different times, but by the time we met back on the street to find our car, we were like; "was that woman a bitch or what!!!" We both had the same experience. This shop has quite a selection of meteorites and the owner is quite knowledgeable about her stuff. If you have questions about the properties, she also has a book which describes which stone has certain attributes. Great selection of moldavite - the green, glassy substance formed roughly 15 million years ago, give or take when a meteorite (or some fiery thing from space) hit the earth and formed these beautiful gems. She also has a jeweler that makes custom moldavite rings! I was very tempted by a beautiful ring that had two moldavite stones surrounding a Siberian amethyst. Located on the corner, the store has lots of light and character and the owner is a lovely person who is passionate about her stuff!

Propertier/grocer Augustine Isoard's had a liquor store here and a wine press below in the basement. Mr Isoard was born in France in 1828.
