In spite of how quiet it was in the store, the woman who runs/owns (I'm not sure which) it could hardly give me the time of day. She practically answered my questions with a grunt. When I asked for clarification, she gave me the same answer. She could barely pick her head up from a piece of paper she was writing on. There was a man working there who helped me get some yarn out of a container, but he was not a knitter and could not answer any questions. He was extremely nice and I found myself hoping that he was not her husband. They have a large selection of good quality yarns, which is a positive (hence the three stars), but so do lots of other places. Their prices are the same as everywhere else. I do not plan to return there, although it is conveniently located for me.

It's a small shop with a ton of inventory, so it is a little cramped, but the extreme upside is you will definitely find something that calls your name. They have a lovely selection of pattern books as well, but they are a bit dated (Debbie Bliss, Nicky Epstein). Come and support this local small business!! Their website is user friendly and you are also provided discounts if you order multiple items. They ship their products fast and the shipment usually arrives faster than the expected time frame. The easel-backs are packaged safely and have never arrived damaged. I also appreciate that if I have any questions, I email them and receive a response by the next day. I emailed at least 10 other places asking for quotes for 15 women's t-shirts and Bay Ink Screen had the best price and was the most professional. They sent over a professional quote within a couple of hours of me asking. I just sent them a pic of what I wanted printed (found on Pinterest/Google Image Search) and they were able to create a mock (free of charge and the result looked exactly like what I was looking for and I didn't have to ask for any changes). Bay Ink Screen was also the only place that offered to do a gold "foil" print for the same price as regular silkscreen print colors. Phri, the manager, was so helpful and accommodating. I went into the shop to check out the shirts and he was so knowledgeable and was patient while I even tried a couple of things on so I could get the sizing right. This is my go-to silkscreen printing shop for sure. There really isn't any point checking out other shops.
