We both ordered the fish fry, mine with a bit of Cajun seasoning. The fish is prepared in fork-friendly bites and was very tasty. The batter was light and stayed crispy until it was all gone. I'm not one to rave about coleslaw but it is good here. It has the perfect crunch and isn't over-dressed (I don't enjoy soggy, wet slaw). Lots of local taps as well, perfect for all of that food. But it's the service, namely Sylvia (Trixie) that makes this a solid stop. She was hustling, greeting everyone, busing food and dishes, all while singing along with the bar playlist. She checked with every table as she went along, never letting anyone feel forgotten or overlooked.
