I love the way this company pays attention to their customer's needs. Recently, I called the…read morestore to place an order to be delivered. The person answering the phone said they couldn't do that without my coming into the store or calling their customer service. I thanked them and hung up the phone and didn't take any action. An hour later Lindsey, from Pet Food Express Customer Service CALLED ME! Wow! Now, that's beyond any expectations I would have had. I loved that the person at the store level contacted Customer Service on my behalf and that Lindsay then called me. I find placing computer orders a bit overwhelming and so they really took care of getting me the items I needed without my having to work hard to get that accomplished. They have a customer for life!

The store was clean, well organized and had a lot of services available. There was the standard treats, toys, food and accessories, but there was also a self serve pet washing area, and a pet play area/ training area. Unfortunately, someone was training while we were there, but from what it looks like, when there isn't a training session you can let your dog into the area for a but. We ended up buying some treats and toys for our dog after walking around the store a couple times and letting him sniff around. The staff was friendly and it was a nice way to kill some time while we waited for an appointment.

It shows that the owner really cares about the well-being of your pet rather than the profits. I love the open treat bins because I let my dog pick out his own treats. I have a 83 pound husky mix, so the bathing stations are super convenient. Although the price has gone up from the self-service over the years. I remembered paying $40 for 5 baths, you pay for 4 tokens and get one free. My partner used up our last one and this time he said he paid $60 for 4 tokens. I asked if there was a deal and the seal was $60 for 3 tokens, with 1 free. The jump in price is pretty crazy, but it saves my pipes from clogging. I'm not sure if it's something they can fix, but once in awhile the pressure from the water spout and the dryer is a bit weak depending on the station and it is not consistent. This happened to me maybe 2-3 times and the staff always allows me to switch stations after I had already inserted my coins. Doesn't always fix the issue, but the pressure can be slightly better on a different one.

I have been going to this particular pet food store for a while now. Why? Well... let me explain…read more.. THEY ARE GREAT! So they have this awesome special that if you buy three bags of pet food, you get the 4th FREE. AND, you can mix and match. That alone is not why I love it so much though. I like the variety (Well... my CATS like the variety), and the folks who work there are very knowledgeable about all things PETS. in my last trip I had a conversation with a team member about buying grass for my cats and I took their suggestion. I brought this little thing of grass and my cats went nuts. Just another thing to add to make my kitties happy. I've also gotten some tips on OTC stuff I can give me cats when they have some respiratory stuff happening (L-Lysine FYI) and it seemed to help! One of my girls has issues and doing great. They have a huge selection of Stella & Chewy as well. If you haven't purchased this for your dog or cat, you should. THEY love the stuff. The ONLY drawback, parking can be a challenge because everyone is going to Jolibee, it's still doable though, and I'm not taking any stars for that! Just the "quick" tip, GO THERE. Nice people, great selection, and the 4 for 3 deal is great. Plus your pets will appreciate you.

Instead of going to a…read morechain pet store, we decided to come out to East Bay Vivarium because we have trust in their sourcing and care methods. The staff workers were very knowledgeable and gave us the entire download of how to properly care for our new pet. Even though I've been a bearded dragon owner before, I learned so many new things that I didn't know before. We wanted to make sure we were choosing the right animal for our needs and the staff was very patient in taking out all the different animals we were interested in meeting before we made our final choice. Our new family member has now been with us for a couple of weeks and seems to be thriving. We are very happy in our decision to purchase from this business.

These aren't display objects. They're animals with needs, and those needs are being ignored for the sake of fitting more inventory on a shelf. If you're thinking about bringing one of these animals home, please don't buy -- adopt. There are reptile rescues, small-animal rescues, and shelters across the area overflowing with snakes, bearded dragons, turtles, rabbits, and rats who already need homes, and they'll come with honest information about care and lifespan instead of a sales pitch. Buying from a store like this doesn't save the animal in the tank. It just tells them to order another one.
