I did end up buying a rare Japanese blended whiskey for a great price; and was housed in their "unicorn items" glass case, which made me feel extra special buying it. While there I got to meet the owner and her staff which where both very accommodating and kind. They even let me try a sample of the expensive whiskey I was checking out to begin with. I was very impressed by that. Most mom and pop liquor stores won't do that, and because they did that, they've earned themselves a new loyal customer. I'm big into supporting local businesses and while I won't be able to always afford shopping there, when I can, I'll go! Another bonus for this place is they carry certain whiskeys and bourbons that the big name liquor stores don't carry. All in all a great 1st visit! Will definitely be back!

My wife ordered a burger and devoured it without a single word. This is how I know she truly enjoyed it. I went for two tacos (they run about $6 bucks each) including the Pulled Hammy and the Mama Migas. Both were packed with flavor and spicy enough to keep me on my toes. Service was on point. Our waitress hustled even though it was a chill lunch crowd. The bar itself has this cozy (not wide) historic downtown vibe with brick and wood and all the kind of stuff you see in those hip Austin places people brag about. The girl asked for a card on file for parties 9 or larger(that was no big deal) it was after that she told me 9 will not be sat comfortably "it will be a tight squeeze". Why would I reserve a part of 9 & put my card on file to sit uncomfortably. I was very surprised how un-accommodating it was. I ended up canceling & reserving elsewhere we can sit comfortably. It's not worth showing up & someone is sat on an awkward corner or we are smooshed together at a table. It was for my bachelorette, so that's their loss!
