Lots to love here. The bartenders, karaoke night on Sundays, and I'm sure the food is good although I haven't eaten there (yet). The ambiance is top notch, especially on a busy Friday night. Packed to the gills with some of the most beautiful people living in and around White Plains, it is a treat to come here when everything else has already closed and the party. must. go. on! :-) However, I do have one bone to pick. The bouncer stationed at the front is extremely and suddenly rude. I was shocked last night by this experience. At first, I was let in just fine, told that I just needed to "sheath" my bluetooth speaker that I usually use to provide my own musical ambiance when traveling up and down Mamaroneck Avenue. I walked around inside unscathed, was even so lucky as to catch the eye of a few beautiful ladies- lucky me. I stepped outside to catch a breath - so packed inside - and saw one of those same ladies inside through the glass window. We made momentary eye contact, and I was going to re-enter to chat with her, when the bouncer appeared out of nowhere and told me, rudely, to leave at once. That he had had "too many complaints about me". I truly had done nothing to receive this treatment. I hadn't had a drink all night, I was dressed exquisitely, and I'm an above average dancer. And yet, when I told him I had done nothing, his response was "LEAVE. NOW." I mean, WTF? Other than that, it is great there. I might go back one day if that bouncer receives an attitude adjustment. But until then, I'll steer clear and spend my time at Cantina, whose doorman is MUCH nicer to the clientele and is much less likely to be on some substance when allowing people in the door. read more

There is this one white girl who works there that is super rude! she only started being rude to me after seeing me with the guy i was with. Originally she was our waiter and then she ask's one of her coworkers to take our table. I ordered the shrimp penne pasta & the shrimp was so sour and BAD i could smell it when the food was brought to me. They did allow me to get something else off th menu for the same or less of value but that shouldn't have been served to begin with i know they could smell that while cooking it. The drinks at Whiskey are always amazing and that was the first and only time i had a problem with the food. read more

I love my bartenders always have always will. The only issue that I could quite possibly think is the PROBLEM is the manager. One day they say hi to you the next minute saying "you are not welcomed in "their bar". The interesting thing is this it's not their bar... they just works there. If I have one thing to say to the owners You would do much better with someone WHO CAN PERFORM THEIR DUTIES UNDER LOTS OF PRESSURE without pointing fingers, yelling, assuming and belittling customers when they've done nothing wrong. I shall leave you with this the food is ok if you enjoy the restaurant depot frozen wings tossed in sauce. THERE IS NO DRINK MENU so there is no solid price on your drinks(you have to keep note of what each bartender says is the price of your drink each time you order), the food menu is not their own (lazy boys menu is their menu). The temperature of the bar is that of the equivalent of the temperature of a brazing fiery pits of Satans home or the frozen heart of an cold bitch. No one like either of those two extremes especially if they're eating dinner, or dancing with a drink in hand. how about you just leave the temperature at a relaxing 60-72degrees depending on the out door conditions The decor has not been updated in almost 8 years or so. The lay out is still the same since the days of LAZY LOUNGE. Also, get ID scanners and USE THEM PROPERLY. So many times friends of mine have said that their are minors coming and drinking at the bar with their fake IDs. Fridays-saturdays are a hit or miss. i've been to every bar on this Stripe & this is by far my favorite! the staff is amazing and very personable my boyfriend and I know some on a first name basis! This was my first time coming to the newly renovated place. It had a great new look, clean, bartenders were friendly and knowledgable. Jarrod poured me a glass of what I wanted then I spoke to a young female bartender and asked her, "I'm not a whiskey drinker but would like something smooth". I love this place! It's conveniently located on Mamaroneck Avenue and busy every time I've been. Their special is the fishbowls which are only $10. The portion was more than sufficient for a couple of people. You can make it any color you want by letting the bartender know. went here on a friday night, not super crowded but the staff seemed very flustered. The bathroom had a giant hole in the drywall. My beer tasted skunked and then I ordered a veggie burger and was given a turkey burger instead which is UNACCEPTABLE as I haven't eaten meat in almost a decade. Waiter was not apologetic and still tried to charge me full price plus extra for avocado even though it was included with the meal I had ordered. To top it off, wanted to play darts upstairs where there is a dart board but no darts available. The whiskey selection is alright but the beer we had a problem with. The taps from two separate beers were both very very foamy which, to my brother who works in a brewery, says is an indication of dirty feed lines. The taste of the beers were off as well. Went to this place on a friday night for end of the night drinks asked the bartender to give me 3 drinks and two beers she only served me the 3 cocktail drinks i order and didnt give me the beers my friend asked her where the two beers we're and with the nastiest attitude told my friend we didnt order any beers. I posted a review on another site that spoke the truth of my experience at this bar, and instead of the management being professional and reaching out to me to apologize for the poor service and addreas any of the concerns, they decided to reach out to someone I was at the bar with to yell at her, complain about my review, and ban me and one other from being allowed to go here again. What kind of customer service is that? This is unprofessionalism at its finest. If a business is not willing to address all customer service comments, whether good or bad, they might as well just close the doors. My review spoke the truth of my experience on that specific night. A bartender at this bar provided me and other patrons with some of the shititest service I have ever had. She was concerned with leaning back on the bar and drinking (which is in fact illegal in most states) instead of serving customers. Why should someone have to wait longer than 5 minutes to be asked what they would like when their is no one.else being served at the time. It is complete and utter bullshit. I'm really glad we decided to pop in because we found an amazing bartender, Jae! He's personable, friendly and really down to earth. He's also extremely knowledgeable and gave good direction on what drink would suit me. Really good at what he does and we will be back to have drinks when he is bartending. So, I came in here by accident yesterday. I was with some friends and I had read good things about the food and beer selection at Lazy Boy Saloon. So, we went into Lazy Boy. There was a doorway in the front and through the doorway was a second bar. We went through the door and to the second bar as there was more space at the actual bar to sit. We later found out that this second bar was Whiskey Creek. Well, the bartender Jarrod, was a great guy and they share the kitchen with Lazy Boy, so the food is the same awesome food where we got the best wings I have had anywhere in Westchester County or NYC. We had the Tequila Citrus and the regular Buffalo. Both were awesome! They also have a very good selection of beer as anything they don't have right at the bar they can get from Lazy boy next door. I think this will become a go to for me and I look forward to trying out their whiskey selection. read more

Went back as planned with a "Local Flavor" deal. Wanted to sit outside where there were plenty of tables available. Was told to sit anywhere - so we did. We showed Local Flavor certificate when waiter came over. "Oh, no you can't sit in this section. Sit over there." So we moved, and then a rude old guy in white shirt and hat came over, said to waiter "No, they can't sit there. Can't sit outside at all." Didn't even have the courtesy to look at us or talk to us directly. We went inside to see where exactly can we sit. Found out we can sit at an inside table way in the back. Funny, but when we were there in January we were treated extremely well. Service above and beyond accommodating - now, I guess they are crowded enough that our business is no longer needed. Nice guy in plaid shirt who was at the bar really tried to accommodate us, but apparently rude guy in hat out-ranked him. Can't speak to the food this time around, as we walked out.
