I was succumbed with darkness by 4:30pm this Monday night - But this lazy boy had himself a date with a bum from beyond the territory of the said gold rush. Monday nights, in particular, can lead to a feeling of seclusion for the majority of Americans this time of year. And that is why in 1970, the NFL decided to take advantage of our starved souls... looking for munchins, bunchins, and a couple collar crunchins. I also tried the Honey Citrus Ginger wings; the fresh ginger and local honey give them a unique flavor. The vibe is your classic, loud and proud sports bar, so don't expect a quiet bite. the beer book lists dozens of craft options to choose from. Went to this place for lunch. The Lazy Mai Tai was great and the chili with melted cheese and red onions on the top was as good but the pizza was horrible. I had the Angus beef with bacon pizza and it was not what I expected. It was a cracker crust but cheddar and mozzarella cheese but it lacked seasonings and flavor. To make matters worse, when we got the bill it had a processing fee added on. When we asked the waiter what that fee represented she said she didn't know and that it would be best to ask her manager who could better explain the fee but she thinks it's to account for inflation. Myself and a couple friends stopped by lazy boy this Saturday to get some food and a couple drinks around 7:00 PM and it was a terrible experience. The bar / restaurant was blasting music to the point where we could not hear each other unless we leaned in ear to ear across the table. Despite everyone sitting down and eating food it was louder than all the surrounding bars and just ridiculous -- I would not recommend and personally will never go back for food. read more

I was craving baked Mac & cheese with breadcrumbs & apparently it's hard to come by in WP. I ordered their white truffle Mac and cheese & it absolutely did not disappoint. It was super creamy, with a more elevated flavor profile than a normal Mac and cheese, aka the truffle flavor, and the bread crumbs on top just brought the whole dish together. I also tried the angus beef sliders, they were juicy and delicious. The onions really brought out the flavor of the beef. The bun was super soft as well. The only note I have is that the fries were a little well done, which usually isn't a negative but they were crispy to the point where there wasn't really any potato inside of them. I'm not docking any stars for this though because I'd rather have them over a raw unseasoned potato fry any day. Their tequila citrus lime wings were SO GOOD!! As someone who can't even smell tequila without gagging, they really surprised me. The buffalo wings were also very good. Both were super crispy & flavorful, they definitely deserved their winning! read more

The pizza is super thin. Coming to us on the silver pizza tray you almost couldn't see there was a pizza on it till it was put down on table but it was fabulous. Good service. New favorite bar food spot in White Plains! We stumbled upon this place one day while walking around the neighborhood. Loved it so much the first time we came back 2 days later! The burgers are DELICIOUS. Both times they were juicy with the perfect amount of toppings. In the Santa Fe burger, they did not skimp on the bacon and avocado. I tried the lobster cheese sandwich and the IPA marinated steak sandwich and loved both of them. They put a good amount of lobster in the sandwich and the bread was perfectly toasted with butter. The IPA marinated steak sandwich also is amazing. Sautéed mushrooms and onions with a big piece steak. They always give a plethora of crispy shoe string fries (if you love McDonald's French fries, you'll love these!) I honestly can not decide on which one I like more. Hit the Lazy Boy Saloon for happy hour on a Tuesday. It's a pretty typical sports bar, with one side being a full bar and the other side being a dining area with a smaller bar. Their happy hour deals are decent. Select drafts are $5, you can get an order of wings and a beer for $10, and select appetizers are $6. They have a decent tap selection, but most bars these days do. Wings were OK. They were a bit dry and not very meaty. The fried pickles were more batter than pickle. The cheese fries were crispy, but the cheese sauce wasn't thick enough. If you read some of my other reviews you already know I love a place with a good vibe, personable staff, and good food. lazy Boy Saloon hits all the marks. Their large dark wood bar and indoor seating was inviting with just the right amount of flare on the walls. Big screen TVs with sports channels and not overly loud, in fact it was down right quiet (relatively speaking) for a bar. Huge selection of local draft beers and all of the usual suspects you'd expect to dine. The staff was awesome and attentive. I love it when you can talk with the bartenders and not feel like you're just another drink order like some chain restaurant. They nailed it tonight, made us feel welcomed and at home. Food was a solid four star. Had the Californian Chicken Sandwich. Just the right amount of spice. The shoestring fries were right on par as well. Didn't feel like they were over cooked or re-cooked, like has been the trend for me most recently. One of my favorite go to in white plains. To me a hidden gem, they have some really great drinks. One of which is called a "man-mosa" it's a beer cocktail. A bit strong, but if you looking for a buzz def must try. I always order the tequila-lime chicken wings, really great flavor, I usually order them extra crispy, since I enjoy the crunch in chicken. But also highly recommend them. If not these, I'll order the tequila-lime skirt steak, also very flavorful. For a bar I always go into them never knowing what to expect, this place is def one of those places. With the food and drink menu. I have to say not only is the food excellent (wings are my favorite in town) but the staff is excellent as well. From the manager, security staff, to the wait staff everyone is extremely professional and on point. Even when the bar was busy with patrons who probably should have left early and overstayed their welcome, the food came out quickly, staff checked on tables regularly, and the food was delicious! The food is good for quick bites as well, I've had many of their wraps, salads and sandwiches and I've never been disappointed. BUT I will only go there when certain bartenders are working because there is this one bartender...the ticket said Lola on it (I don't think she's an actual bartender) who is extremely rude, slow and can't make a simple call drink.
