Really clean and I like how they had eco friendly toiletries. The area rugs had me thrown off a bit bc they were a little ragged and torn.

He seems very busy arranging for ATV/UTV rides and fly-fishing trips so we never saw him; his daughter was very helpful with checking us in and explaining everything. We stayed just one night in the Chamisa room, that's a huge third-floor suite with a fine view of the sunrise - actually a required view since there are no shades on that enormous window lol. The bathroom is just across the hall. Comfortable bed, good strong A/C, everything was great. Hotel staff cooked us breakfast right on the dot of 7:30am! Torrey is a tiny town with a lot of character, there's good coffee, good food and very good hiking not that far away. I don't recommend walking there after dark, there's just no safe path. You can ignore the old review comments about Irene and Kim, also the Yelp business description. They sold the business to Shawn and are no longer active here. If you don't mind the cost, I recommend a sunset tour in a utility terrain vehicle ("side-by-side" aka UTV). Adam took us up top a nearby rock formation that let us see all of Torrey, and gave us quick geology & history lessons while we were up there, it was a great time. Finding the Skyridge's entrance dirt road can be a struggle, and they appropriately warn guests that your phone's map will probably fail on the listed address. For what it's worth, this address took me right to the spot, your mileage will vary: "714 SR-24 Teasdale, UT 84773"

We felt like we had the entire place to ourselves...so quiet and relaxing. Hot tub was fantastic. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Amazing star gazing. Breakfast was still delicious, great coffee!! Host was extremely accommodating and helpful! This is the place to stay in Torrey!

I arrived after hours and they still answered the phone, already knew my name and had a drop box key thing and I loved the ease of it all. Do with they had more lamps lighting the road for the night arrivals but still found it. Room was just the right temp with ceiling fan. SHOWER!!! AMAZING!!!! Let's just say it's helps get you clean all over. Besides everything else it was one of my fav parts. I'd love to make this "my spot" when I travel through here each time . Didn't take as many pix as I should have , my bad, it's pretty!!

An absolute delight!! We were fortunate enough to stay for 3 nights as part of my 50th birthday…read moreweekend celebration, and it was the perfect place! First of all, we are both total germaphobes (even before Covid) and this place was sparkling clean! We never walk barefoot on hotel floors, but we did here. We also sat on the bed covers, and even the sofa, another first. lol. And...we have never seen such a clean coffee pot. We were super impressed and immediately felt right at home. Everything was tastefully decorated and welcoming. The layout of the room was excellent - plenty of space, and lots of light and greenery. We loved the fridge / microwave / sink in the main area, as we had brought most of our food for the weekend. There was plenty of room for all of our food and drinks. The shower was large and had three nozzles, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. Towels were fluffy and clean. Again, every detail of this place was well thought out and comfortable. I think the floors might have even been heated, which felt great on our bare feet. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. And the breakfast - wow! With Covid we had a set time for our breakfast which was really nice. And the food was amazing! Homemade yogurt and granola, a warm egg dish, scone, fresh fruit, delicious coffee and teas...we were in heaven. The breakfast room was full of light and plants, and there was also the option to eat on the patio. An added bonus is that the tap water in Bluff is delicious! We brought several gallons of water with us, and didn't even need to use it. Usually we don't bother with ice machines at hotels, but the ice was delicious and we enjoyed having plentiful ice water during the trip. Again, this place is all that - and more! Loved every minute and are already planning a return trip.

I want to start with a genuine thank you -- when my daughter realized she had left her beloved…read morestuffed bunny behind, the staff helped locate it and were told mailed it back to us...That kindness meant the world to our family, and I don't want it to go unacknowledged. That said, I have an obligation to be honest, especially for other parents traveling with very young children. We booked this property with two kids under 3 years old. Safety isn't optional at that age -- it's everything. What we found were two issues I cannot stay silent about: No working smoke detectors. The smoke detectors throughout the property had no sensor units -- just empty mounting brackets on the ceiling. Not malfunctioning. Not beeping. Simply absent. Traveling with toddlers and having zero fire detection in the home is not something I can minimize. I have photos. This is a life-safety issue and likely a code violation. A deteriorating outdoor deck. The deck showed significant structural wear -- peeling surfaces, weathered and unstable balusters, and exposed nails/slates. With two children under 3 who are at exactly the age of touching, falling, and exploring everything, we did not feel safe letting them near it. Cleanliness -- a pattern, not a one-off. Other reviewers have flagged this too, and we experienced it firsthand. The oven was dirty on arrival. The BBQ grill was coated in old bacon grease from a previous guest -- who had actually left a handwritten note saying "sorry" about the state they left it in. That note tells you everything: even the last guest knew it wasn't acceptable. We also found dead bugs in the trash. These aren't dealbreakers on their own, but combined with the safety issues above, it paints a picture of a property that isn't being properly maintained or turned over between guests. I raised these issues with management and provided documentation. The response was a $90 credit with no explanation, and a brief reply that the issues were "being addressed." No acknowledgment of the severity. No real accountability. If you're traveling without children, your calculus may be different. But if you're booking with little ones, please factor this in. We tried to resolve it privately and in good faith -- I'm sharing this so you can make an informed decision. Don't stay here.

Before we…read moreeven got there, they emailed us directions, in anticipation that we wouldn't know where we were going. I appreciated the forethought. We drove up late Friday night and arrived around 11pm. The staff were gone, but we called ahead/wrote a note ahead of time, and they made accommodations for us to pick up our key. Checking in was as low drama as it gets. These examples made me feel that the level of service is good, even though we didn't interact with anyone. Sometimes it's the non verbal things that make a difference. Our treehouse was super cute. The living quarters were elevated and the lower level/floor level is an area where you can sit, have a bonfire, bbq using their grill, etc. Overall, it was in good condition. Just minor things like our screen door didn't really line up when closed. It seemed to be clean in areas that are often overlooked, but the shower had a lot of random stray hairs that were not mine. Also the water pressure is low. I'm not sure if that's by design or not... The room's features are pretty standard: Mini fridge, kitchen sink, small closet, king bed and a loft with two twins. The property is located just on the other side of Bryce Canyon. You can see the colorful canyon-top from the tree house. It's a very convenient 20 minute drive from the park entrance. It's remote and very quiet. It was truly beautiful and serene. There is a wash nearby that filled up due to some rain, but the next day it dried out. The wash does not affect access to the road or hotel, fortunately. There is a restaurant on site. It's decent. It's pricy. Service is on par with a higher end restaurant in the city, but the food flavors were slightly above average. Not sure if I'd go back to the restaurant. There's a town down the street that also has food and a store.
