This is the most amazing gift shop I have ever been to. It's the gift shop of my dreams. I was visiting Asheville during the week of Thanksgiving and researched local gift shops before I visited. I knew I absolutely had to stop in after reading all the wonderful reviews. This store completely lived up to all my expectations. I had visited several other gift shops before visiting here and my sister agreed that this was clearly the best of all the shops we had visited. There is so much stuff to look at and there is a wonderful variety of items for just about everyone. Everything I looked at was reasonably priced. There was so much cute and unique stuff that I was amazed and wished there was a store like this where I live. They also have a nice selection of greeting cards. I especially loved the Japanese stuff. The Japanese make the cutest gifts and I wanted to take all of it home with me. I bought a cute Japanese die cut cat calendar, some nail art stickers and a little sushi toy. The woman and man who work there were so friendly and helpful. I could tell they really enjoyed working there and helping people find what they're looking for. I absolutely love this shop and will make sure to stop in again the next time I'm in town.

    Love this shop still

My review from seven years ago last detail, but same feelings going strong. I always feel like a princess when I get to park right outside and that happened today. They do have a little lot in the back they share. FYI. I feel like it's always the same two people in here when I go, and they're always amazing. Helpful and willing to answer questions, but not over bearing. They never seem annoyed even though it takes me like three hours to walk around and look at all the knickknacks. This is my go to spot for gifts. They have a lot of Asheville, and not in Asheville things for all of your loved ones. From stationary, embroidery packets, candles, jewelry, magnets, games, calendars and more, this place has it. The area they really seem to Shinin might be cards and prince. I've actually loved some card so much that I framed them and hung them up. They have something for everyone. Incredibly inclusive store as well.

Sooo many wonderful goodies, gifts, trinkets for a variety of uses and personalities. Lots of unique greeting cards too. Always a treat to go and visit

So many cute and frivolous things that I absolutely don't need but that will definitely make me feel better.

We each ordered individually, but tasted everyone's dish. Beef Tartare: beautifully presented and well balanced. Served with fried saltines (seasoned with Old Bay seasoning). Wood Grilled Asparagus: perfection! Absolutely LOVED the sauce gribiche! Braised Rabbit and Nettle Cavatelli: I thought this dish was stunning. The texture of the cavatelli could not be better and the flavors melded well together. Lardon added savoriness while the pickled ramps balanced the palate. Soft Herb & Pea Risotto: loved this in terms of texture but needed a touch of salt. We added a pinch of their house special salt (mined from a 100 year old salt mine), and it did the trick! Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle: this was my favorite item, though also, requiring a pinch of salt. I really appreciated that the truffle oil did not overpower the dish (that's a pet peeve of mine). We were provided with some truffle salt to enhance savoriness, which absolutely lifted the pasta to another level. Service all around was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in town!

They have food and beverages available as well as popular locally made products like Poppy popcorn; French Broad Chocolates, Asheville Tea Company among others. They have items you may have forgotten to pack and some souvenirs too. The staff were very friendly and I had an item purchased somewhere else in the hotel that was even wrapped up and put into my bag. Talk about going above and beyond for the customer.
