Here are the actual facts: * He came, did no testing whatsoever, and replaced a breaker that was perfectly fine. * When it didn't solve the issue, he demanded $200 anyway. * Then he tried to upsell me another $150 "detection fee." * The very same day, I found a real licensed electrician who did a proper test, discovered it was just a light, and fixed the whole thing for $200 total. Problem solved. And let's be real: which scammer pays in full? If I were scamming, I wouldn't have paid him a cent. I paid just to get rid of him and keep my tenant safe. As for "hiding my identity" -- of course I don't hand my personal details to dishonest scammers and haters. That's called protecting yourself.
