We needed a new water heater - we could see corrosion at the top and wanted to take care of it before something happened. We asked our neighbors if they had any recommendations and one neighbor said they were happy with Whitaker. I always do my due diligence and get multiple quotes which I did this time I received many responses and while the one from Whitaker was not the least expensive, they asked questions to get more information which I didn't realize was necessary to get an accurate quote. Some quotes came back installed no code upgrades, or language like direct swap only. I hate getting into a situation where all of a sudden you are required to shell out more than you expected . I had to call for a plumber when trying to change the cartridge if my shower valve. The old cartridge broke when trying to remove it and I thought I would be to replace the entire valve. Their quote over the phone to replace everything was very good and they were on site the next morning! Upon inspection, they were able to replace the broken cartridge and fix everything for almost half of what I was expecting to pay! They are prompt, polite and honest. I have a Toto Neorest and needed service and filters cleaning for the washlet, this company sent me a Plummer who at first had no idea what he was there for and flushed the toilet a million times, when I asked him why he kept on flushing the toilet he said there is nothing wrong with it, I told him clearly I requested service for the washlet that was giving water but without pressure, he had no idea even where the filters go and how many there are, and asked me to show him where the filters were, long story short, the guy admitted that he had no knowledge of this toilet, he was trained on the newer model, nevertheless, he left messed up my toilet while trying to figure it out, and now the washlets does not spray water at all. He even left the water shut to the toilet and I had to figure out what went wrong. Beware, extremely unprofessional and they send you people that have no clue about anything. Extremely unprofessional, I will be sure to make Toto aware of this issue so they never get referred to repair Toto Toilet. read more

We had waste stoppage: we could not drain water for 2 days. First plumber we called said the fix would require ripping up a portion of a brick patio and cutting into the house.
