She absolutely loves candles so it was super fitting to get her one while I was here. The staff helped me pick one out called Nature's Paintbrush, which was perfect because my aunt is an artist. I believe it's one of their signature scents. As my aunt opened her gifts, the candle was a hit and was passed around the table for smells. Ohhhs and ahhhs were flowing left and right. Along with selling candles, they also offer candle making services which could be a lot of fun with a friend or on a date night. When you walk in there are paper shoppers bags along the wall you can grab to start putting your goodies in. They offer candles, bath bombs, bar soap, hair products, and more! When you check out you get to pick which tissue paper to use in your bag. So adorable and a great touch. As I was leaving the shop I heard the shopkeepers discussing what they would work on for the day. They were going to pour candles. The refrigerator couldn't be delivered until Friday July 10 - so I spent all week moving food in and out of coolers. I really needed the item to be delivered by that Friday. My delivery window comes and goes. No delivery/ no communication regarding this appliance. So I call. And I am told at that point by 'Jesse' in the delivery department that they over-booked the truck and my refrigerator 'just didn't make it'. Now what??? How is that my problem? I am not the one who overbooked the truck but I am the one dealing with the hassle of it. They now can't deliver my refrigerator for 4 more days...its set for Tuesday 7/14.... I am not happy but Jesse tells me they will credit my delivery charge. Fine...not great but I will live with it. However: 1. why am I calling the store to tell them I have no refrigerator? 2. After they are 'going to check on it' why do I have to keep calling back. Where is my 2K appliance...and why do I have to run through the communication process on this issue, waiting on hold, calling again and again? Terrible service.... So here we are at today (July 24).... I call because I do not have a credit for the delivery charge. I am hung up on 3 times by the delivery department while holding... Then on the 4th call I am on hold for 37 minutes for either someone in Delivery (specifically Jesse) or a store manager. 37 minutes. In that time I literally got in my car and DROVE ALL THE WAY TO THE STORE while still on hold for the manager. Is this how lowes does business now??? Pretty shameful. Carmen in customer service tried to find the manager...it was a no go - she was super nice about it, and obviously this isn't the first time that they can't track down management. Thank goodness for Jeanie (the supervisor in hardware) she was able to credit me the delivery charge which is great because I was prepared to die on this hill at this point. So thank you to Jeanie! I have purchased multiple appliances at this lowes, plus all of my flowers, soil, mulch... Why am I on hold for 40 minutes? Why can I literally get in my car and drive to the store and still be on hold for the manager??? Why does no one answer the phone? My issue is resolved but my time is wasted. and to wait 4 days for a refrigerator that was a booking issue with the delivery department... why does no one answer the phone or handle store issues? Why did I have to waste my time to get the credit that I was promised over their store mistake? Its ridiclulous. I should be credited for the entire freaking appliance after all of this nonsense. I am about to purchase a new diswasher...do You think I am going to this lowes??? hell no. I will go to home depot or Costco... but I am done with this store. But I was pleasantly surprised by Corey, who greeted me, heard my request for the freedom to start 'trying on' chairs, and gave me room to explore. He touched base with me a couple of times, then actually sat with me as I "thought out loud" about my options. When I finally narrowed the choice down to two, there was one I liked just a little better, but the back felt "loose." Corey took the time to educate me on how to tighten the tension--and he actually made a quick change which fixed my concern. The chair was perfect. Corey also taught me the life hack for removing and easily replacing the back so that I wouldn't be confused at home. I was impressed, when I confirmed my choice, to see the whole team jump into action--working together to prep my chair for the trip home. A couple folks took the chair to the back to wrap in plastic, while Corey worked with me to process the purchase. Rather than just taking my payment, he and his colleagues interacted with me in a way that made me feel like my satisfaction was their only goal. They were jovial and educational and quick to provide answers for all of my questions. I came in for a chair, but I was being stewarded with "good vibes" that made me feel great about the whole experience. Corey gave me a blanket as a housewarming gift, then he and one of the guys who had worked with me at the register met me out back. They carefully loaded the car while we talked and laughed and I was on my way. It was some of the BEST customer service i have experienced. Corey and the others are the folks I will contact FIRST for all of my future furniture needs. I am grateful and feel very blessed.

He was truly the Professional and helped walk me through exactly what I was looking for. A true professional, not rushing me but explaining EVERYTHING I wanted to know about my chair.
