"No cheese" but still put cheese.
    Estrella E.

Decided to order via UberEats and specifically said "No Cheese" on special instructions. When the impossible sliders that I ordered came, all of them had cheese. I called this location and explained the situation and the manager's solution is for me to physically go to their location to pick up new ones that they are gonna make. This defeats the purpose of me paying the fee for delivery. If I could have stopped by their store, I wouldn't have ordered via UberEats in the first place. Really disappointed since I was craving their impossible sliders.

I am in here today for a late breakfast. Apparently, they now serve breakfast all day. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese waffle slider combo which cones with a small coffee and an order of hash browns. It took about 7 minutes to get my food. I thought the waffle slider would be a bit bigger. The mini hash brown discs were crispy on the outside soft on the inside.

Just order food from there and was missing stuff I don't understand how yah forget to put people drinks in a bag and food was soggy didn't. I didn't eat it and had to throw it away not risking it meaning my whole meal. Never again from this location

Clean interior, nice staff and a clean bathroom. Great stop before we headed to the Barclays. Nice sized parking lot. Fried cheese curds were off the hook. Can't complain.

I remember when these mini burgers were 42 cents and cheese would cost 52 cents! Ah, the yester-years when you could also eat endless WC burgers without any reprisals! Well, every once in a blue moon, I would get a craving for a cheese slider and WC is the go-to spot. The jalapeno sliders were good and the fries crispy. Everything they way you'd want it to taste if you're feeling nostalgic. It's sad that a few locations have closed their doors in Brooklyn and Queens but I will travel should the craving ever hit before I dare eat a frozen version from the supermarkets.

Onion rings and a surf and turf! The best. Tarter sauce in everything!

Friendly waitress greeted us and sat us immediately. Menu's came out and they recommended a pizza and burger. We agreed and ordered. Place started to pick up and get busy immediately after we ordered. Food came out pretty quickly. We each had a burger. Not a lot of options on the menu but we all tried the emily burger. It was worth it. Think, juicy and with an amazingly unique taste. The ingredients were high quality, the burger cooked to perfection. The table also split the modern pizza (I think). Not sure what to expect from this one but turns out it was perfect, unique and delicious. The cheese taste really shined through. Overall, we were super happy with the food here. Stop by if you have a chance.

I'm not sure what they are famous for but burgers, roast beef, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and more. I had the cheeseburger and fries which are baked like chips. Awesome touch. The orangede was delicious too. We also got a free pizza with our order, which I believe was from spending a certain amount. Seating is right behind the counters and they had tables and old school booths for the tables. Great spot and I can see why they've been around for so long.

Both restaurants have been in business for well over half a century with well-deserved accolades. Despite having grown up in Brooklyn, I hadn't been to either before this year. I read reviews and actually asked ChatGPT what to order at R-N-R. We went with its suggestion: medium roast beef with cheese, onion rings, root beer and lemonade. My sandwich was more well-done than requested. They don't offer 'rare'. The few bites with red meat were infinitely better than the rest of the sandwich. The roll, as everyone points out, is baked in house. Though light and puffy, it didn't outweigh overdone beef. Onion rings were great, root beer average, and lemonade -- per my husband who loves lemonade -- excellent. While I wouldn't balk about returning, my vote goes to Brennan and Carr, though truly, when cooked as requested there is no substantial difference. If you take the train, get off at Sheepshead Bay Road and head south. Turn left at Emmons Avenue and keep walking. Twenty minutes all told.

I ordered: * Truffle Maker ($11.59) * Truffle Parmesan Fries ($6.50) * Chicken Bites with BBQ sauce ($8.05) * Large Yuzu Honey Lemonade ($4.00) Truffle maker was pretty good and I was glad I was able to remove the caramelized onions and truffle aioli (I'm picky). The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave. Texture was reminiscent of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, nicely seasoned. Overall had a pleasant experience, I definitely want to return and try the rest of their menu.

Not all restaurants have restrooms that are made available to customers. That is an A+ in my book. Food 10/10 I ordered Hous Burger (hold the onions. Don't at me) it was pretty good. The taste of their burgers is different from most of the burger places I have tried before. I have also ordered Yuzu Honey Lemonade. I was trying to taste the honey in the lemonade. I guess I was expecting too much. The drink was refreshing. I may try the Matcha Yuzu Lemonade next. I met a gentleman who goes by the name Ten P aka 10pushups on IG. He recommended that I try his cola shake. That is what I got, plus the whipped cream. I was honestly looking for the taste of Coca-Cola because Cola is in the name. Regardless of what I expected, the shake was pretty good. I am not a shake person, so when he asked me to try it, I made an exception. Overall: I plan on coming back to Bun Haus. This was good eats.

The service is impeccable, the wait staff is well versed in the menu and will offer help if you don't know how to truly get the best sandwich that you can. The star here is the roast beef sandwich, it's moist and flavorful and cooked absolutely perfectly. My suggestion is to order it with cheese and have it dunked in the au jus. I prefer what they call a "knife and fork job" where the sandwich, the meat the bread is all dunked and comes out in a river of au jus. They make amazing sides, I typically go for the onion rings and corn fritters which are tasty, fried nugget of sweet corn and they are delicious. Curious about the "famous" Brooklyn roast beef war -- yeah! it's a thing! -- T and I decided to see for ourselves. (Once I try the competition I'll weigh in with my vote.) With a reputation built on beef we ignored other options and researched how to order. You can get double dip, "dingle-dangle" (don't ask), cheese/no cheese ... it was confusing. We both went with rare roast beef, cheese and onions. T asked for his double-dipped in gravy. Yum! Short of five stars, but yum nonetheless. We ordered two unhealthy sides which added to the decadence of our lunch: corn fritters and onion rings. If you only get one, go with the fritters. The place is busy. You'll likely have to wait a bit -- but I found it interesting to watch the guys at the counter work. Service was friendly and attentive. Unlike someone's comment about paying blind -- not so. We were given a check with an accurate breakdown of what we ordered. Prices are posted. And yes -- cash only.

Additional to the burger and mornay fries, we got the chicken sliders and a malted ice cream. Luckily, I was by myself, which gave me some wiggle room to grab a seat at the bar. The seating was quite tight, and I was sandwiched between two other people; however, I knew I was lucky just to get a seat. Once I sat down, I was quickly served water. I already knew I wanted the double cheeseburger with bacon and egg, so it didn't take me long to place my order. I definitely enjoyed sitting at the bar because the restaurant has an open-kitchen concept. You can watch the chefs prepare the food, which is always enjoyable for me. The burger itself was definitely an experience! It was beautifully presented, and everything was cooked to perfection. Honorable mention goes to the pepper on the thick-cut bacon- it added a nice savory kick to the burger. I had really been looking forward to trying it because I recently passed by Au Cheval in Chicago, but the wait was extremely long, so I didn't get the chance to go. This burger was definitely good. It's not at the top of my list, but it was worth the experience. I must say, it's also extremely high-end price-wise. For just the burger with bacon and egg, plus tax and tip, I paid about $47. Again, it was a treat, but not necessarily one I'd order again. I'd love to try some of the city's other standout burgers before returning for this one. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! Would I return? Sure, but I would probably try something other than the burger next time.
