I walked in to carry out! Wanted to see the place. The two window people were super nice. They said all the kind things. I didn't wait long for my order: two sliders and a small chocolate shake. The sliders were perfect. The chocolate shake is the best in town. The dining room was large and clean. Behind the plexiglass was a bit cluttered. I came in for the great food.

Haven't been in years. A slider cost 5 cents when I was a young girl. That was back in the 1950's. They were delicious then.

It may not look like much, but it packs a whole lot of "great" inside of it! PROS: -Service is fantastic. The servers, despite being less than an hour from close, were super friendly, and they made me feel like I was part of everything. No clique-y vibes or disgruntled employees. Lots of joking and laughing from the staff when they weren't serving. -Food was delivered freakishly fast. We had barely got our beer when we had apps, and we had only managed to get the chili cooled enough for a few bites before entrees came out. The kitchen was really on top of things. -Really large selection of salad options. Their ranch was really delicious, but most importantly, all the salads felt like relatively "healthy" salads unlike many places that try to make them restaurant "quality" by stuffing them with cheese and other treat-y options. This could definitely be a place you could take someone who had to watch what they were eating for various reasons. -Prices were very, very reasonable, and we came away with a good meal without spending too much. -It was raining when we left, and staff was offering to walk people to their cars with their restaurant umbrella. Seriously, it was amazing. CONS: -No dedicated parking lot. There were decent available spots on a Thursday night at dinner, though. It just might be a few blocks walk. -As a chill night, it was okay, but I could feel this place feeling a bit crowded with tables too close together on really busy nights.

Kind, personable, and genuinely warm exactly the kind of energy that makes a meal feel like more than just a meal. The burger was everything it needed to be no gimmicks, no shortcuts, just a beautifully made sandwich that delivers on every level. The fries? Equally on point. Honestly, I have no notes. None. The beauty of a Saturday afternoon is there were sports on and TVs hanging on the walls. That made the wait easy. Boy do they know their stuff bc it was pretty much one hour to the minute when they called our name and escorted us to our table. We sat in a booth and took in on the collection of various items around the bar that have been gathered through the years and had some laughs at some of it. It was almost like a fun game of eye spy! They came to take our drink order and by the time they returned we were ready to order. We chatted for a bit and our food came out in what seemed to be a good time. I ordered the Patty Melt with onion straws. My husband got the Thurman Burger. We were surprised by its size when they came carrying it out to our table. Believe it or not he ate every single bite. Said it was delicious. Mine was equally as delicious. Maybe not quite as big but that was fine by me. I actually quite enjoyed that they served the 1000 island on the side. It made it way easier to eat. The cheese was nice and gooey. Just perfect. The onion straws were good too. I shared those with my husband. They were actually just as good on their own as they were dipped in any kind of sauce. That's big coming from me bc I love dipping! We got a box for our leftovers and headed out happy with a great first time experience here.

The sign caught my wife's eye and since we were hungry, it was kind of perfect. Our kids had never been here before and it was a good opportunity to expose them to a great late-night diner with plenty of vegetarian options (our favorite thing about this place) downtown. We each ordered a veggie dog in a different style and we grabbed some sides as well - totchos, fries, and pretzel bites! The kids loved their sides. We are still opening their eyes to different types of foods, so it was a stretch for them to order a veggie dog at a restaurant that had unique toppings! Next time, we'll have them get charred and not steamed. I thought steamed would be the way to go, but I forgot my oldest has become accustomed to veggie dogs on the grill during marching band season. I tried the veggie brat out of curiosity. I could honestly take it or leave it over a charred veggie dog. I like both about equally. Overall, great experience. Our server was great, friendly, and accommmodating, and our food tasted great! I hope we can talk the kids into coming again to try a different combination. It's such a fun place that fits our family vibe.

Looking through them it seems like service is inconsistent, and a lot of people have issues with Uber and other online services. But it was handy for me today, so I took a chance, and visited in person. There's a pretty big parking lot shared with First Watch. There were a few spaces open at 130 on a Friday. Otherwise, you are stuck trying to find a place in German Village, and good luck. There was a steady stream of customers, but the line was moving pretty quickly. Service was professional and fast. The ingredients were all spread out and were fresh. In a few minutes I had my food. There was a small mistake, and they quickly and graciously fixed it. I don't think I ever noticed before that they had tacos, maybe they've always had them, but I decided to go for those instead of a standard burrito. I got the carne asada, which is apparently seasonal, plus black beans, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato salsa, and corn salsa. The tacos hold together fairly well, although they are definitely messier than a burrito. An extra tortilla might be nice to scoop all the leftovers into. And they were pretty darn good. The steak was good, the other fillings were fresh. I also got a side of chips and guac, and the guac was very fresh and tasty, with some onions mixed in. I also got a side of chimichurri, which is again a seasonal thing. Maybe they're using a bigger cup at the store than in the ad and on the menu, but the serving size was pathetic. I would blame false advertising more than the staff. The sauce itself was pretty darn good. I put it on the chips and on the tacos. An assortment of fountain drinks and aguas frescas, etc. The place is pretty big, and clean. This was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had at a Chipotle, and, you know, that's on a curve. There was a time when I ate Chipotle a lot, and then I avoided them after they had some issues and I had some bad service experiences. But this was a very pleasant surprise. I will definitely be back. I'll see if the experience is spotty and inconsistent. The price is reasonable for what you get. Far exceeded my expectations.
