I found this place on Yelp, and it was a perfect lunch spot that no one should pass up! My husband and I sat at the bar, and each got a hot dog. He also had a beer. The place has lots of really cool and nostalgic sports items. I would come here again when we are in town.

Dirty Franks is amazing! I love finding a great hot dog on every city I visit: Dirty Frank's does not disappoint. It's small, so you may have to wait and the service is sometimes chaotic but the interior is fun filled visual stimulation. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Columbus.

Great service, love the interior decors, and their hot dogs did not disappoint. Loved the tator tots.

I stopped by Dirty Frank's for dinner one evening and decided to try the loaded potato, brisket slaw, and chili dogs. I took my order to go, but I loved the building's bright colors and the option to sit outside. Each hotdog was piled high with toppings but my favorite was the chili dog. Neither the brisket or slaw had any flavor, so that one was disappointing, but the loaded potato dog made up for it.

Front of menu. So many veggie options here!

Yum! So many vegetarian options from the hot dogs to chili and bacon bits! Took our kids for the first time and they got the Classy Lady (cheese sauce and potatoes chips) They both enjoyed. I had the Cleveland Rocks (slaw, BBQ, French fries) and would def get again. Also got fries ans the pretzel bites. Service is quick and there is street parking. Small inside but it moves quick.

Super cool place, with fun and eclectic art. Great, friendly service. Food was fine but not exceptional. It's definitely worth a visit, but I can't say I'd go out of my way. Still, if you're here, drop in.

First time dining here. I've heard of this place over the years, but since it isn't really a part of town I visit often, I've never taken the plunge to try it. Today was the day. First off, it's a cute, eclectic little spot that was fun. They have a large selection of options so I wasn't sure what to get. I asked the girl at the counter to let me get the most popular dogs. She recommended I do a box of two dogs with fries. I took her recommendation. I ordered a Chicago dog and a Caroline dog. Neither of them looked very good but they tasted ok. I walked away from the experience thinking, it was good but it wasn't someplace I'd come back to. I'm sure it is popular. If I had a friend say they wanted to go, I would have no problem going, but it's just not someplace I'd frequent. I'm glad I tried it.

Honestly, some of the best dogs I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of hot dogs. You should absolutely go try this place, you will not be dissapointed.

Food was great but just finding a staple inside the onions rings is definitely discouraging

Slaw and brisket and chili dog. Sorry, ate half one before picture.

First time here and it was good. Had the Brisket and Slaw Dog and a Chili Dog...plenty to fill you up, couldn't finish the chili dog. Plenty of selections and sides, I'll come back.

Atmosphere: The inside is super comfortable. Walls are covered in eye-catching throw back style, makes you think of exactly what you would picture the a hot dog joint in a feel-good movie. Food: We order our drinks first. I got the rootbeer that is in tap and I got the keepsake cup as well. This rootbeer was SO good. Nice and ice cold, good bite and I know for a fact, this would have made a great rootbeer float too. We ordered out food next. I ordered a chili dog with no onions and my date partner ordered a loaded potato dog as is. I am not kidding when I tell you it took less than 5 minutes for both dogs to come out. As for my chili dog, it was nice and fresh, the poppyseed bun was soft and a good ratio with the hotdog and toppings. The chili for the chili dog was very good. It wasn't too sweet like you see with a lot of coney sauces. The hotdog itself was steamed and had a good snap to it. I may try it charred next time but overall, very good. I let my partner try a bite of my chili dog and we ended up having to order her her own chili dog with onions. Overall: I loved this place. I love me a good hotdog. We thought my partner was just going to have nachos because she doesn't eat hotdogs. BUT SHE ATE TWO!! I also got myself a "Nothing keener than our wiener" Tshirt before we left. We will definitely be back!

This place delivers exactly what you come here for...tasty junk food. The creative hot dog options stand out, especially the one topped with beer cheese and pretzel bites. My partner and I ordered the combo where you pick two hot dogs and a choice of fries or tater tots. The dogs were good and the sides of tots or fries were both tasty and well-seasoned. The charming atmosphere reminded me of Adult Swim cartoons, and the service was attentive. With salty food like this, you always want water on standby and I can say that was taken care of. Overall, it's a fun experience with good food and a memorable vibe.

Are you craving fancy junk food. What are you waiting for? Come to dirty franks and deluge your palate with this hotdogs, a little overprice but is a good spot if you want something good every now and then.

What brand of vegan cheese is used in the restaurant?

Hi, Tamara! We use shredded vegan cheddar from our friends at Vida's Butcher, located right here in Columbus. Thanks for your question!

Are fried leeks no longer on the menu?

I was a bit worried as it looks more like a night club from the outside, but the food was fantastic! We ordered the popcorn chicken, the Shanghai noon burger, mama Chien's dumplings, drunken noodles, a cobra old fashion and a local beer (paper cloud?). The chicken had some unique seasoning and the drunken noodles were phenomenal; the noodles were giant and cooked perfectly and the dish has some unique touches like pea pods that you don't usually find. You order at the bar, but even with that the service was great! A server brought out an herb for us to try that is in many of their dishes. They checked in on us several times and even refilled water, which you get yourself at the back. The customer base was very diverse. I'm guessing the place may turn more club-like later at night, but for dinner it's a perfect family restaurant.

I loved watching the bartenders make the drinks. It's mesmerizing. We tried the Koji Popcorn Chicken, Ezzo Pizza Dumplings, Seasoned Fries, Mama Chien's Dumplings (pork & sweet potato filled). All the food was amazing. I ordered a Kopiko Espresso Martini that I will go back 10x over to have again and again. I would say the only thing I'm not a huge fan of is going up to the bar to order every time you need something. I think they could really thrive using a QR system and/or digital tabs to make that process simpler. Also so you don't have to keep leaving the table. Either way, definitely worth it to check out!

Their visual chart is a…read moregodsend for cocktail explorers, and all of the drinks came out delicious and exactly as described. It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.
