Utterly amazing drove 3 hours from PA just to go here on our way back to Mass. when the doors slid open I expected to see Jesus but instead I found food heaven. Who cares about service. I'm from California and eat here every time I'm in town. The burgers are always fresh and the staff is super nice, polite and professional. The french fries and so delicious especially when you get them freshly made. So crispy with White Castle catsup, so yummy Love, the double cheeseburger with extra onions and pickles. I know , I know..4 stars for a fast food place. But, they make your order when you order it, they are always nice , order is always correct, and food is good. My kids love this place and they hate cheese. The reason I'm writing this is becasue I always say,No Cheese and white castle has never put cheese on order!!! Yay, and everything is always hot ! After I got to the window to pay for the food a very rude man with long dark hair, tied back informed me that I had made a grave error in not ordering online first. When I asked him how long it would be he said he had "no idea" and it would be anywhere from 8min to 25. This guy was such a rude man I almost had them cancel the order. Avoid this guy! Absolutely fantastic experience. We went with a party of 8 for Valentine's Day and our server was Roberto. This young man made this experience even more fabulous with his charismatic personality and ability to charm our talkative and inquisitive kids. My nephew, Charlie, talked about zoology with Roberto and they both shared a love of animals. The restaurant was decorated beautifully for the holiday and it was an experience we will always remember and hope to make it A family tradition. read more

No person in their right mind would give White Castle less than 5 stars. And given it has a drive thru, it's almost heaven in Roxbury.

Considering the other White Castle around me this one always seems to have better service and cleaner facility and isn't On the slow side it's further from me then the other ones but I don't mind the drive when I crave the little burgers. read more

Absolutely the worst meal I've had in yrs. it's been 20 yr since I've had White Castle and it's not what I remember. The burger was so bad, just garbage. The onion rings literally didn't have onion in them, more like dough with onion flavor. I looked for onion, none. The clams we awful and over cooked. Best part was the Coke. WILL NEVER GO BACK. Went into this location to redeem an offer on my old receipt after taking an online survey. Manager refused to honor the offer and was extremely rude to me. I will not go back to this location ever again. I recommend going anywhere else than here. There are too many other locations in the area to get a meal. read more

Great staff at the Ledgewood, NJ location, They're very friendly and polite. The food is always freshly made and super hot. I have purposely ordered things I normally wouldn't, just to see if their other items were as good as the traditional oniony cheese sliders, and they were. The fried pickles were good when I got used to the taste. They offered sauces but I made my own- cocktail sauce mixed with mayo. The BBQ brisket was pretty decent, I liked the little crunchy bits. The chicken with bacon was again, surprisingly very good. Better, I think, than most fast food chicken sandwiches.Their fries are a little dry and I have added salt but you can actually taste the potato in them. The hash browns were crisp and great. It's a fun treat when you have the craving that only WC can satisfy and the quality of the food was the same at 2+AM as any other time of day. I have yet to order breakfast here, but I'll eventually get to it. This good old fashioned burger joint has definitely held up over time. read more

Is this place slow? Yes but lets get to the goods, This place is open 24/7 but unlike other places having just a drive thru open they leave the Lobby open! I know its stupid but being able to use the restroom and go here late at night (preferably after a night of drinking) makes it a guilty pleasure to both me and my group of friends, nothing better than getting the guys together to get a couple bacon cheeseburgers to end and reflect on our night out. read more

Absolute garbage. I went there with a friend about a year ago and not only did the bag of burgers smell like feces, we got violently sick from them. Never again. Apparently a lot of people have had similar experiences there. Long gone are they days when this store first opened. This place was disgusting!! Garbage on the floor, there were no clean tables. I had to ask for napkins and cleaned our table myself. The Only reason we ate here is because my son had never been to White Castle before. And we probably never will again. The sliders were slightly warm- not piping hot like other White Castle s I've been to. The soda station had a door coming off the hinges and the service counter had grease all over it and I could see the prep area floor was littered with assorted pieces of trash. The floor may as well have been the color of onions - the employees were essentially standing in a field of onions. I took pictures but my son was embarrassed and made me stop. Yuk. First time ever at White Castle and I will say that it was an all around great experience. For starters, the pricing is a game changer. Everything is insanely cheap and allows the most bang for your buck. The selection is also incredible, offering things such as fried pickles and fried fish nuggets. This is very unique compared to other fast food chains and I was quite impressed. I indulged in 2 double sliders, 2 single sliders with cheese, a breakfast slider with egg cheese and sausage, a small mozzarella stick (3 pc) with a side of marinara, a small fry, and a cherry vanilla Dr Pepper out of those new coke machines that absolutely adore. My favorite indulgence was the breakfast slider. Full of flavor and quality in a small yet powerful sand which. The reason I'm at a 4 star compared to a 5 was that the wait for the food took a bit longer than I expected from a fast food place. However, it was late night and they were more than likely low staff. The staff however was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend White Castle to all those who haven't tried it and amend people who stand by it as one of their favorite fast food delicacies. read more

My husband loves this place. We don't go often, but he is always looking to go if we can in new towns. The restaurant was nasty. Dated, chairs and tables were dirty and greasy. The ice tube for soft drinks was moldy. If I were a health inspector, I would close this place. We added cheese, but the burgers were so cold the cheese didn't melt. There were more than enough people working to tidy the place up. We were very disappointed. We won't be going back. read more

It was my first White Castle experience. The decor is fun and the burgers cute, but the food is ugh. The burgers were paper thin and didn't have much flavor. For what you got, I found it expensive. Napkins and straws on the floor, tables weren't wiped clean, sticky floor in front of the soda machine. Yucky.
