We recently moved to a new home and have been calling tons of contractors for little projects around the house and it is hard out there to find a good contractor who does good work at a good price. Chad came out (getting a call back was hassle free and very fast) and was such a pro he figured out how to fix our over flowing gutter in about 15 min. Then he proceeded to bill us $0 because it was such a quick fix! Gotta love an honest pro!! This company is top notch! A few years ago when we had the bad hail storm in Omaha/Elkhorn, we called White Castle Roofing to come out and do an evaluation. Their advisor (sorry, forgot his name) was out in a very timely manner, did a thorough assessment of our roof and concluded that the damage was minimal. Their recommendation was to not file a claim as it wouldn't be worth the hassle and potential insurance premium hike. Of course, we had other roofers comeout and many of them said we needed a total roof replacement. We ultimately had an independent assessor come out who agreed with White Castle Roof's original recommendation. In a sea of fly-by-night roofers, it was nice dealing with an honest company. Fast forward to today, we were coming back from a walk and noticed parts of our roof shingles looked odd. Not sure if this was normal or potential wind damage, we called White Castle Roofing again. I spoke with Jordan who asked me to text him some photos of the potential damage. He knew immediately what the problem was from the photos but wanted to come out to do a complete assessment. He was on our roof a few days later and said some of our shingles and vents were lifting up/detaching from the recent wind storms. He and his repair guy, Chad, did a quick repair and didn't charge us for the work. This was totally unexpected and is the kind of professionalism and altruistic business practice that has made Jordan and his crew my go-to for any future roofing needs. I had a leak in my roof & didn't really know who to call. I saw that White Castle had good reviews & being from STL that name is familiar & loved. I know loving a burger place from your childhood isn't a reason to pick a roofer but it was familiar & brought good feelings at the thought. Lol. Anyway, I called on a Thursday & they were out Monday. Chad got on the roof & in the attic to inspect & figure out what was going on. He explained what the leak was & it was a simple caulk caulk job around a pipe. He also told us what we could do if we wanted to but said at the moment their was nothing else that had to be done. He was very thorough, professional, & understanding of our home situation. I would definitely call back when we need anything with our roof. Very disappointed in White Castle. They came out and fixed some parts on our roof that were leaking but not everything. We called for someone to come back out and fix it and they never showed. We paid them $350.00 and they said that their work was guaranteed for 1 year. Tried to call the manager and had to leave a message. We never heard back. Inconsistent and work was left undone. Let me begin by staying can you trust a roofing company that would replace a roof in mid November...you can make your own decision however before you do check the temperature that a roof can be installed and sealed by number of degree days.....November would not fall in the acceptance period...let alone the shingles being used. The only one that could be installed is a Northstar class 4 shingle that is heavier than the other ones and hail resistant.
