Professor Jimmy not only responded quickly but personally-which is a rarity. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be teaching the class I was able to make but he let the instructor teaching know I'd be there. It's hard walking into a new place, even harder when everyone else knows each other so I was pleasantly surprised when Coach Dasha, called me by name, set me up with a waiver form and even let me use a school's uniform. They're just as technical as they are friendly and I liked that the warm up was related to what we were learning. I was lucky enough to get partnered with one of their resident black belts who not only had some moves but was willing to help me learn what he did. Super welcoming, loved the class structure and everyone there rolled hard but were still so easygoing.

I can't say enough. My daughter started about a year ago when she was 4 and a half. She now goes 3…read moretimes a week and just loves it. She has fun, gains self-esteem in such a positive way, and learns discipline, respect for others, self-respect. But most of all, to her, it is FUN. When I pick her up from school and tell her we are going to karate, she gives a big shout: YAY! The instructors are all lovely, thoughtful people. All of my expectations have been exceeded and then some.
