I stopped in briefly to look at their dresses since they were having a 40% off sale. All of their dresses were great quality and with the discount were reasonable. I really hate spending money on groceries and on clothes. I would rather spend the money, if I *had* to choose, on a nice dinner that will be gone in an hour. It makes no sense, I know. But when I do need a nice outfit or am feeling splurgy, WHBM is in the apparel store rotation. I thought I had reviewed this location after July's Yelp event, but apparently I did not! I meant to... because I had saved the receipt with the person's name who helped me so I could give her a shout-out, but now I can't find it. Ergh! Nonetheless, I purchased a LBD here a couple days before the Liberty Place event and it's now one of my favorite dresses. It's so great. And it was on sale! So, so cheap. Five stars just for that. I've been back since and the customer service in this store has been so great. Today, I stopped in with my mom as she searched for a dress. I didn't feel like store-hopping and I knew she'd have a good chance of finding something here. She was quickly becoming anxious as she started to look, so I got the attention of one of the people working, Molly, who -- through a long series of dresses -- was successful in finding one that my mom loved! She even found her a blazer that matched it perfectly, as well as a necklace. Mission: complete. Whew! read more

Rude service and won't let you return gifts even with a receipt after 60 days... even during COVID.

The one at The Promenade in Marlton royally pissed me off so certainly wanted to give credit where it is due. The only reason I even trekked down to Marlton is because they have a larger inventory. Other than that, this WHBM has polite staff that is available but doesn't stalk you. read more

I shop online a lot since the closest location from where I live in California is about a 35 minutes drive for me. I absolutely adore White House Black Market. Today After visiting the container store in Cherry Hill I went into the mall. I thought since I will be spending the remainder of the year on the east coast helping my mother pack up her house i would get a little low demand part time job. I had no idea thee was a white house here. I was excited when I walked in to see a hiring table. I picked up a card that had the managers name on it and started to make my way to the back the store to ask the sales ladies which was the manager. Well i didn't even make it all the way there. The manager at least i assume she was the manager was yelling at an employee. I couldn't see the employee because the manager was so big she blocked the view from where Was standing. I could hear the girl saying they should not be having the conversation at the time but I couldn't make out everything because the manager was so loud and I quickly turned around and left. Needless to say I won't be applying for working there or even stopping in to shop. read more

Love this store. Associates are fashion forward, polite and not pushy. They ask the appropriate lifestyle questions and are fun to chat with. It's an experience I feel pampered. I will say I had an appointment set up which I wasn't able to make. I want to apologize. It has nothing to do with your fabulous service it had to do with my lack of time awareness. I love WHBM. However, i hate this location. I actually liked the stock a bit better, but if i'm buying a shirt for $88 i do NOT want the girls stalking me into the dressing room, opening the curtain when i'm half naked, and saying "hey mami i got you another shirt in case". Did i ask you to get me a shirt and barge in on me? Nope. Not going back. Please teach your staff how to behave with people who will be spending too much in your store to begin with. read more

I love this store and always have a great experience. I love WHBM clothes. The clothes are made with great quality and have the best fit. I especially love hitting the sale racks and always find some amazing clothing articles. I was here last night. I was only planning on buying a shirt and pair of jeans. The sales associate Brie was excellent. She did check on us a bunch but I am glad she did. I must have missed some things when I was walking through the store. She brought me a white dress with black polka dots that was on sale for $30. At first, I thought it wasn't my style. But I tried it on and loved it and the fit was perfect. I would have never even tried this on if Brie didn't bring it to me. She was so helpful with bringing other clothing options and sizes but without being pushy into trying to get us to buy clothes we didn't like. I also love that they have different shoes there to try on with your clothes to get an idea of how the dress or pants look with heals (of course I love the shoes and end up purchasing another pair half the time.) Brie made me feel like I was shopping with one of my girlfriends. My aunt was just coming along for the trip with no intention of making a purchase but she got an awesome shirt and coat that was on sale that was just too good to pass up. My only problem is that I love everything and always buy more than I plan when I go in here. read more

I have always been a fan of WHBM until recently when I had a poor customer service experience that started out at the Cherry Hill Mall location. I'm going back one more time and that's to return the last few items I had purchased. I'll never again give my money to this store when I have so many more options. read more
