She could not have been nicer, to me and to all of the customers there. It was moderately busy and she was friendly, helpful and a total pro with everyone who came in. (I know because I watched. You don't always know what attitude you'll receive in shops from people behind the counter, especially if you don't buy.) This woman was kind to everyone, whether they purchased anything or not. Our group did end up buying some items and I couldn't believe how reasonably priced they were! I was impressed with Flourish and by the owner of the shop....... interesting pieces in her stock, and excellent treatment by her. Lovely woman! I'll be back.

I have been to the White House Black Market many times. Admittedly, sometimes the sales staff is a little hit or miss, but usually I have had positive experiences with the staff and their helpfulness. I am typically always greeted and quickly asked if I'm looking for something in particular or for a special event, or work. I really like the clothes here, good fit, quality made. I like that the staff is quick to bring in a few things (or add a couple things) to my try on room that I might like or that might suit me. I"ve certainly never been treated badly as some other reviews experienced, and I would say 90% of my slacks are from WHBM, several dresses, several sweaters and some jewelry. So I buy a lot from WHBM and shop at this store in particular, not just online. read more

I started this review by saying I want to change my opinion, because they have many brands I buy. But each time I go I get no service and am ignored, and now chased out of the store during open hours. What a shame. Update: I checked there hours on line and it says close at 7pm, but if I'm eating dinner across the street, see people leaving the store, see the window sign hours of 8pm, and it's 7:53, of course I think they are open.
