We tried to hire this company to cover a family event. Although their portfolio looked impressive and they seemed professional they proved to be unprofessional and unreliable. Their lack of proper communication resulted in me being stood up for an appointment. Furthermore, their "contract" was utterly one-sided (in their direction) and made our attorney blush (that's saying a lot). In their defense, they seem young and inexperienced. I have been completely, utterly and shamefully remiss in not reviewing White Label Photography until now. Get this - they worked my wedding on August 20. August 20, 2011! I left them a note on their private blog when I got back from my honeymoon: 'Thank you guys SO MUCH for all the great work that you did on our big day. We could not have had a better experience. I think the phrase "going above and beyond" is over-used these days but in your case it truly applies. Despite some last minute, ahem, 'updates' to the schedule you guys kept your cool and remained calm (which incidentally helped me maintain same), stayed on task and made sure you took care of everything we needed... despite my inclination towards micro-management you managed to take charge when you needed to, without ever moving the focus to yourselves, and most of all what impressed me more than anything was that you were EVERYWHERE all day (and night) without ever being obtrusive or conspicuous. In all honesty: White Label Photography provided better wedding photography services than I could ever have hoped for. We can't wait to see the rest of the photos and we wish you guys all the success in the world.' ...and I stand by every word. I met with Haroon a couple times before the big day (and exchanged several (many?) emails and a couple of phone conversations), never had any problem whatsoever getting a hold of him when I needed to. He cut me a great deal (trust me - a GREAT deal) on a custom package that included what I wanted and left out what I didn't. Basically we agreed on two photographers for however many hours it was, unlimited digital shots and then a certain quantity they'd touch up and upload. Well, they beat the deadline they had set, and gave us MORE pics than we had agreed to. All for an ultra-competitive price. Two CDs with several thousand shots (and a really nice note) arrived soon after the honeymoon was over. I truly cannot recommend this business highly enough. read more

Living Social purchase. I was not impressed. First, the session was supposed to be an hour and a half. It lasted for one hour. When I made the appointment, the owner said that he would probably be able to have the pictures to us for holiday cards. Umm, we did not get our picture CD until the end of January. We received the CD of 30 pictures from the session. Let's just say, we were not impressed. Sal was very nice and I hate to give such a kind person a poor review but we certainly were not pleased. I wish there was a way to give more stars for White Label Photography because they surpassed all of our expectations and my entire family is grateful and indebted for the wonderful pictures we will have and cherish for a lifetime. I hired White Label at almost the last minute for my Mom's surprise 70th birthday party. I met with Haroon, he was there before me, he was prepared and the contract was more than fair as well as the pricing. I read through the reviews here on YELP and I can't reiterate enough how any review that is bad only has to do with them being overwhelmed with a coupon deal gone wrong and not a one has to do with the quality of their work, because it is beyond excellent. The photographer showed up at the event early, asked about the key players of the party and didn't miss one shot. Every part of the event you would deem important was captured and frozen in time with skill and artistry. We got more pictures than I imagined we would and much more than our contract called for. The editing was magnificent and the photos were delivered in high resolution on discs well before the time promised. Thank you Haroon and White Label. We have a big family and will always call upon you to be our photographer from this point forward. read more

We also purchased the Living Social deal and we have to completely disagree with the other comments! We LOVED them! Their photo became our engagement photo for our signature frame! We enjoyed the way Sal (our photographer) was not afraid to get dirty to get the shot. He was very creative and in turn made us creative! It took about a month to get the retouched images back, but they are beautiful and so professional! I know photographers who take months to get images back, so we were not expecting them to come back so soon. We like them so much that we booked them for our wedding! At our wedding they (we had two photographers) were great! They were always polite and quick with our "posed" photos. They made sure our day was completely covered with there lens! I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone. read more

I purchased my photoshoot off of LivingSocial and I was VERY pleased! Haroon showed up on time and patiently waited a few minutes so I could finish getting ready! He listened to exactly what we wanted and didnt want and also made some suggestions. SUPER nice guy! We lasted just about the full hour and a half, part of the deal, and shot about 400 shots, with an outfit change somewhere in the middle of that too. Amazingly, 5 days later, the disc with all 105 edited shots arrived!! I AM SO PLEASED!! Most of the pictures are amazing, and the ones that are just ok have nothing to do with his photo-taking ability, but we started laughing or talking. He earned his tip thats for sure! Everyone who is recieving our "Save the Dates" will get to also see the talent behind the camera with our awesome shots. Hip, Hip, HAROON!!! They were a no show for our appointment time and unprofessional in subsequent phone calls... blaming living social for the volume of business that it brought to them. Prior to the wedding we had a telephone consult (we aren't located in the Bay Area) and they were prompt with all email responses. I booked them for my wedding last August. Sal was wonderful! They showed up on time and were able to get great shots of me and my bridesmaids getting ready. Their attention to detail was great. I was very big on getting candid shots and they gave me exactly what I wanted. They remained very professional, even with some of my wild guests and family members, but were also laid back enough to fit right in :) I received my photos within a month and I was given about 175 edited photos which turned out beautiful and another couple THOUSAND raw photos. I was very pleased with the entire process, from signing the contract to getting the photos. I'd recommend them to everyone I know! read more

Thankfully Living Social refunded me, stating there were several other reports of the same thing. Maybe they're great when they're making $$ off big shoots, but their poor customer service when dealing with the masses via living social has definitely hurt their reputation. He told me they only had one day available in the next month, so I emailed him back saying that was fine for us and took off work for that day. I emailed again two weeks later to confirm and still haven't heard back. I emailed two more times and didn't get a response. Very unprofessional. I' m very happy that living social gave me a refund but I'm upset that this company was allowed to give this deal out when they obviously weren't equipped to handle it. read more

Haroon and Sal did an amazing job with my wedding photos. I loved how they were able to capture and also create unique photos. I would highly recommend them. They were also able to provide sample photos earlier than my friend's wedding photographer whose wedding was one week earlier than mine. Their prices are extremely reasonable especially since the quality of the photos and the quality of the service warranted a higher price. read more

I was married this past Saturday and White Label Photography went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations. We had communicated back and forth through email for several months leading up to the event. They were quick to respond and always made us feel like we were on the same page. The day of the event, they were on-time and very professional. I can be a little camera shy, but they made it very easy to relax. At times, I didn't even realize they were taking pictures because they were so good at flying under the radar. During our reception, they were able to dream up some really cool ideas for pictures. It's not often you get the opportunity to work with imagination, but WLP nailed it and their teamwork is unmatched. We still have guests telling us how much they enjoyed the photographers and their great personalities. Without a doubt, we would not have wanted anyone else covering our wedding. Worth every penny, A+ Side note: They are so good at being inconspicuous, when I gave a short speech, I completely overlooked their shout out. For that, I feel much regret. Sal and Harron was great. They showed up on time and were very professional for all our appointments. They drew up the contract and responded to our emails promptly. They both arrived on time, dressed nicely on our wedding day. One was with the bride and the other was with the groom. It is nice because we get 2 for the price of 1. They took candid, creative and posed photographs. They finished all the pictures needed for each time frame before ceremony to reception. They are very creative. They are not afraid to get down and dirty on the ground or climb up to a place to get the perfect shot that they want. You will be able see how great their pictures look by viewing their portfolio. They listened to all our and guests request for photographs during or wedding. They take any opportunity for great pictures; they were always taking pictures non stop. We were having so much fun and forgot that I was time for them to leave. They even stayed over 45 minutes past our contract and did not charge us. They even refused to accept our tip. They are one of the nicest, most professional photographers you can find out there. We were lucky to have them as our photographers for our special day. Another thing was, they were fun, personable and some of the single ladies at our wedding commented that they were eye candy at our wedding. LOL. They also offer great photo books which we are planning to purchase. read more
