Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I did not have a good experience here. First off my impression of Soraya was that she was trying to recruit my daughter and I to become Buddhists like in a Scientology sort of way, I mean i don't follow any religion at all and I spoke to her about my kids and felt she was very sharp and critical without knowing any details of my situation. idid not feel comfortable there felt like I couldn't breath, it was very hot all windows were closed and could not wait for it to be over. 200 dollars wasted, but I guess I know this is all hoopla. Sorry Soraya, go take some classes on how to talk to your clients, you should be more sympathetic as to WHY we are there in the first place. Soraya has a remarkable ability to pick up on someone's energies and state of emotions. She approached me one day at yoga- without knowing anything, she could sense what I was going through, and so asked me to come see her. I had the honor of having my first Reiki session done by Soraya and it was absolutely life changing. The welcoming energy you feel when entering her place of practice was so calm and peaceful yet electrifying. We discussed what and how I was feeling with absolutely 0 judgement. So how was my reiki session? Well it was amazing. I went into the session with an open mind and heart ready to be cleared of all the blocks in my chakras. When I got there, Soraya asked me what I knew about it and proceeded to explain the process to me. Then she told me to set an intention for the session and then I laid on her massage board. She burned some sage and waved it over my body to cleanse me. Then she placed a blind fold on me and started placing the crystals on my chakras. She proceeded to pray to God and asked the spirits to help release any blocks I have for my highest good. She asked me to say my intentions out loud too. After that, I continued to breathe deeply as she placed lavender essential oil on my head and wrists. She placed her hands on all of chakras and I remember feeling jots at times from her and my body started moving involuntarily ie. My left leg kicked in the air and my left arm moved on it's own too lol when she touched my left leg it started moving around too. When she was done, I literally felt so refreshed and light and looking around was like with new eyes. A different outlook honestly. Needless to say, she said my energy was light and easy to get too and I was very open to it. She said she saw a lot of magic happen during the session and she said I'm going to notice a difference within the next 24 hours. She told me to continue my ritual in regards to spirituality and to journal (crazy because I already had plans to pick up another journal after the session).
