I recently had my first experience with reiki yesterday and I must say it was a truly positive and enlightening experience. I had the pleasure of meeting Soraya, who guided me through the session and provided me with much-needed guidance and stability. 2 weeks ago I had no clue what is Reiki. One night I was searching for some stuffs about health on amazon, then one of the suggested item was a book called Reiki healing. I purchased it by curiousity . After reading the book and doing more research about the healing power of Reiki, I decided to try a healing session since I've been dealing with emotional issues. Lately I've been feeling depressed, lost and low self-confident. After searching for Reiki master on Yelp, I decided to come to Soraya even though there are other healers much closer to my place. I don't even know where to begin. Soraya is literally a light I really needed. I am always hesitant to try new healers because I've had bad experiences in the past. I'm not from LA and whenever I used to search or google reiki or healing here I never saw it and now I know why. It was because I was meant to see her now at this time. I was not a big fan of reiki, as I had a session with someone a few years ago that did not do much for me. Since I am not in a good place with my life now, I thought I should try again with a different reiki healer, and I am so glad I did! Soraya is simply wonderful! A great listener, the most intuitive and compassionate person, genuinely warm and caring. She has a natural gift of giving hope and lifting the spirit. During the session I felt safe, peaceful and relaxed as she explained the chakras and the healing process. My anxiety is usually up to the roof, but after the session I felt it went down.
