Fabulous! Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I now live in Harrisburg and travel back to Manheim for vet care.

He did not get surgery until 10 o'clock that night. They did call me and keep me updated and he sat with the catheter all day, I was told emergencies. Brought my dog home we went back twice for a cast and on the third time which was a Friday night. I was told he was having a slight reaction and showing some pictures, but that was normal. I had noticed bandage coming out of the cast, didn't think of it until the next morning. Saturday morning he was freaking out. . Unbeknownst to us the front of his leg had a big gaping wound with dead skin. I ended up at the emergency room and they took very good care of him. This was the third bandage change. They said there is no way that skin could have died that quickly from less than 14 hours before so I was sent home Friday night under the impression he was having a slight reaction. I was mortified when I saw and smelt that wound. I contacted the veterinary hospital and they said they would look into it. I sent pictures of how gruesome it was and it got back that it was my fault. Because I let him lick it hard to do the cone on your head. All the doctors there could be wonderful. I do not know, but I did not take my dog back nor will I ever take my dog back there. I am very grateful to all the vets that have helped him since then , all of our process has been delayed by a month and a half because of that big gaping wound.

All of this was for urinary infection and bladder stones that are made up of mostly calcium. I am not sure if this will re-occur or not and neither does Neffsville. $10,711 for urinary infection and bladder stones, including follow-up visits seems like a money machine in and out and pay high costs, at least to me.

We started going for their puppy socializing program when he was just five or six months old. He was introduced to new people, sounds, smells, and other typical vet stuff in addition to getting good play time with other pups his age and size. It was invaluable exposure for a breed that's known for both their general aloofness and aversion to being touched/groomed. Our pup is over a year old now and has outgrown the puppy program, but we continue to take him for daycare once a week and he still loves it. Nick and the resort team are fantastic to work with - easy scheduling, good communication, reasonable rates, and they are always just as happy to see my boy as he is to see them on his daycare days. It's convenient to get his shots/boosters scheduled while he's there for the days as well as the occasional nail trimming. We haven't taken advantage of the groomers yet, or the trainers, but those are two more convenient services they offer. We have boarded him for a couple overnights and one longer weekend and he has been comfortable and comes home happy and tired every time. Since the pandemic started, they have offered curbside service as an option, and they use the PetDesk app, which makes tracking Billings and loyalty points a snap (the more services you pay for, the more perks you earn - like a free nail clipping or free night boarding, etc.). But for those less tech savvy, or just not interested in downloading another app, they're also excellent at picking up the phone when you call and quickly and professionally taking care of whatever you need with email or printed bills for your records. My pup and I really cannot recommend the Neffsville team enough. And I know they have a great vet staff who specialize in the common domestic pets as well as some surprising ones like tarantulas, snakes, and rodents. Follow them on social and you'll see what a wonderful staff they have and all the great services they offer. You won't be disappointed!

He has cared for my dacshund, Great Dane-Basset mix, and currently, my Smooth Collie and my American Bulldog mix. His services are excellent. He provides compasionate convenient on site veternary care. Dr. Blumbergs practice is a private family run business in which he is constantly mobile. Traveling from one home to the next one all around Lancaster Co. His wife fields his phone calls while juggling other duties. So for the most part, his answering machine takes all of his messages. However they DO get back to you as soon as possible. His services are well worth the wait. For pet emergencies there is the Pet Emergency Treatment Center of Lancaster which is recomended by the Dr.in his recorded message. For all other care, his services are top notch. The mere convenience of having exams, treatments, dental procedures and a variety of surgical procedures performed from inside the RV sized mobile clinic is priceless. His fees are very resonable as well. Less than the cost of the animal hospitals around the area. Dr. Blumbergs provides routine maintenance care on my dogs now. But has done dental surgery, spaying, surgical repairs for injuries to name a few. ALL with excellent results. Bear in mind that no veternarian is a magician. And the time will come when nothing more can be done for my dogs. I'm comforted in knowing that the good doctor will come in to my home to perform humane euthanasia for my pets. Others who have used this service have told me that it is done with compassion and respect. And that Dr. Jon spends time and personal attention to the grieving family while often breaking down himself. To the person who left the hasty previous review, your impatience with the call back procedure caused you to miss out on a great service! And a wonderful caring vet!
