The bowling nights were supposed to be social events but it was at times very difficult to hear the people we were trying to chat with (and I'm pretty sure my watch gave me at least one "it's too loud and that's bad for your ears" warning). I'd enjoy that volume way more if we were there to dance. I'm more comfortable in the restaurant so it's on our list of options when planning to go out for breakfast or dinner. They usually have some good beer options (menu available on untappd) and I've enjoyed their cocktails and mocktails. They do a good job with Bloody Mary garnishes. The downsides: - Take-out sometimes takes a super long time (even if you order online well in advance). - They recently took steak off their menu. We were bummed because it's one of the easiest things to get for my husband (food allergies) and on our most recent visit the whole reason we came was because a friend wanted steak (and eggs). - When you order fish & chips they normally ask which side you'd like and I usually pick coleslaw. This means I'm expecting fish & chips with coleslaw. What they deliver instead is fish & coleslaw. Sometimes I'm glad for the lighter meal but sometimes I really am craving some fries so it's annoying. I think I tried to talk to a waitress about it once but the conversation didn't go anywhere. I don't know if I'll order it a third time but I might be tempted to just because I'm curious to see what will arrive next time I ask for "fish & chips with coleslaw." We haven't explored their arcade yet. They used to also have a casino/card room but it closed in about 2025.

We usually only see 1-2 other parked cars when we visit so it's peaceful. We haven't explored their playground yet but that'll hopefully change soon because it's starting to get warm and our little guy is starting to take his first unassisted steps.

The hike itself is a little overgrown at certain points but nothing you can't get through. I wouldn't bring young children here though. Watch out for the stinging nettles! My boyfriend and I made the mistake of wearing shorts and we kept getting stung. My legs still ache a little. The bottom of the hike is pretty bushy and shady but the top leads to a nice hill with wild flowers, views of the wheat fields, and a great vantage point to view the surrounding area. We didn't see any wildlife besides a few birds (which were chirping beautifully throughout the hike). If you're looking for a simple place to go and relax, you should give it a try! It's now maintained by the Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute--remember to keep it clean! There's a cute little guest book about 10-15 minutes into the trail where the actual PCEI sign is.

Moscow's only dog park....could be better…read more What it has going for it: - decent size area for dogs to play - water source in run for dogs - parking right outside dog park - fencing and gates are adequate - shelter area in middle of dog park for humans - some shade trees - port-a-potty right outside dog park entrance What it has going against it: - only one large dog run (no small dog run) - ground cover is grass & dirt (gets muddy easily) Being the only dog park in the area, it's sort of a better than nothing deal here. Add an area for smaller dogs(can easily add since there is already a 2nd entry area) more seating, better ground cover & better fencing/gates, this could be potentially a 4 star dog park/run

I like that they have kiddie pools and a water system to fill them up or to use a hose to wash your dog off after they get dusty or muddy. My dogs are very happy after an hour here, most dogs are very friendly and play well. Everyone so far watches their dogs and picks up after them, breaking up any aggression. Every now and then, sure, you may get alpha's & beta's quarreling, but come on, they are dogs. It happens.
