We stopped in to rent bikes while on vacation. We needed bikes for adults and kids. Of course they had what we needed. That was great. What was awesome was the customer service!!! So impressed by every person we had an interaction with from the person who helped with our rental to the person who pointed us in the direction of the restroom. And, since we're usually in town seasonally, we also got some great tips for next year!!! Highly recommend this shop!!

Such a fun activity. White pine is located right next to the rail trail that takes you to several other trails you can venture on. Unfortunately the snow was too slushy from the sun (end of March) so we were sliding all over the place. No fun. So we stayed on the main, paved rail trail. Great, sturdy bikes! Great customer service. Book your bikes in advance to be sure to get the bikes and sizes you want.

Utah offers so many different experiences when visiting Park City. When I saw Fat Bike Tours, I jumped at this experience and booked it. For us, it was close to the hotel. Quick check-in. Hanz was our guide and he called the night before to prepare us. I'm not a biker, my husband is. I did up hill and took a long break. But it was a beautiful break with amazing views, lovely people, friendly pups...they kept on riding & had a blast! After two rides, we were ready to go downhill and head to the hot tub Do this!

I scheduled a Fat Tire Snow Biking tour with White Pine not knowing exactly what to expect. What a great experience! My guide, Julie, called me the day before to find out cycling experience (road biker), what I was looking to do during our ride...and she counseled me about what to wear. When I arrived, Julie was there to greet along with friendly in store staff to get me set up. The bike looked like it was almost brand new. (Always nice to have well maintained rental equipment.) Our tour started on the trail right in back of the store. (No need to schlep somewhere just to start.) Julie is exactly what you want in a guide. Friendly, high-energy, and adapts the tour based on your ability. Shortly after starting, we did a short single-track to check my skills in the snow. (Hint: make every effort to stay in the track...if you go outside the packed line, you might sink and stop. Restarting in deep snow is not easy.) After a few teachable moments in the deep stuff, I got the hang of it. This meant that Julie was able to take advantage of all that the trails had to offer. A lot of single track trails, manageable uphills, great vistas, a GREAT downhill, and a lot of laughs. A total of 10 miles in the snow. Could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks Julie & White Pines.

Of the 4 mountains I hit in the Hakuba Valley, the longest trail at best went on for 7-10 minutes depending if you're cruising or bombing from the top to bottom. Park City Mountain side of this resort from the highest blue trail down to the bottom, I feel, could clock a good 15 minutes bombing it, or 20+ just cruising down. Is it harder on my legs to do longer trails? Most likely. Do I spend less time on lifts? I didn't care to calculate the difference lol. I thing I know is that I love the feeling of gliding endlessly over the soft snow, and Park City Mountain gives me that feeling without having to stop for a lift every 3 or 4 minutes. Deducting a star because food at American resorts is absolute TRASH vs what was available at the Japanese ski resorts... #380

They really go above and beyond providing amazing customer service to all who walk through their doors. When I asked why they needed a height and weight for snowshoeing they rudely answered that they need the information for skiing. When I mentioned I wasn't renting skis, they were rude. Next, asked for advice on where to go. The girl got out a map, not knowing how to read it, and said, "just go up the street." We did that; there was no trailhead, parking, or even a path. Went back to the shop and asked if we could park there and snowshoe from there and the answer was (again, rudely) "absolutely not." We asked for advice on where to go and they said to try the high school. Went there and there was no snow to be found. Eventually went back to our condo and discovered some very nice trails, no thanks to the rude people at this shop who acted like they hated their jobs, the customers, and life in general. That having been said, the snowshoes were also sub-par. The home page of their website said rentals were 35 $ but when you went to check out it changed to 39. Not worth it.
