Our boots, poles and skis were fitted and adjusted by Charlie, who was very personable and knowledgeable about our equipment. He very patiently explained how to tell if we had the proper fit in boots, taking into account our ski ability levels, ages and goals. I went in recently to buy new ski clothes. I am 5'4" so just in the high end of petite clothing. In addition, I have curves so finding clothes that fit me is a challenge. I was fortunate to find Sammy who patiently helped me try on clothes from almost every vendor in the shop. I walked out with a pair of ski pants that fit me and a jacket that wasn't too long (which makes me need to size up to fit my hips but then then sleeves are so long). It wasn't cheap, but I didn't give her a budget and the next day I was comfortable and WARM! Thanks so much Sammy! read more

They sell boots. They don't fit them. I walked in without an appointment looking to buy my first pair of ski boots. I was an advanced skier, and just finished growing and thought it was a good time to buy my own ski boots and retire past the rental boots faze. As this being my first time buying boots as I made it clear to the fitter, he should have taken into account that I may think a normal fitting boot would be too small. The first thing the "bootfitter" had me do was try a 26.5 boot as he said "just to see what size you are". I said it was too small, obviously as it was smaller than the packed out overly large rental boots I was used to. So, he chose a 27.5 medium volume boot. I said it fit perfect and was very comfortable. He didn't describe how the boot should feel, and a boot being comfortable for a brand new boot should be a red flag. He also did a shell fit, yet missed seeing how large the boots are. This was about it as far as consultation went. Not much question on skiing style, nor did he check my ankle flexibility. So here is what I am left with. An insanely large boot for an advanced skier. Like it is to the point that someone can tell my boots are too big by watching me ski. Here is a picture of a shell fit I did at home as well as the receipt for proof of purchase. I expect this to be made right and I will also be reaching out to you. Edit: went to a proper bootfitter in mammoth. Got sized in a 25.5 size. Not 27.5. And was told I have some of the skinniest low volume foot out there and got one of the lowest volume boots on the market (Technica Mach 1 LV) and extra modifications to make it skinnier (zipfit liners). I was definitely not a medium volume 27.5. read more

Did a last minute downhill mountain biking trip. Word from the wise: don't wait last minute to make reservations. Nonetheless, strolled in on a Sunday afternoon, and was warmly welcomed by the staff. (I did not have the same experience at most other bike rental places) I came in looking for 4 downhill bikes, and Jim and Jake were such helpful and kind people. Very quickly they sized us for the appropriate bikes, prepped them for our trip, and tried their best to make this last minute biking trip happen. Both Jim and Jake are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with the bikes, I'm sure the rest of the staff is just as great. Parking in the back for people renting bikes, helmets included! Not to mentioned unbeatable prices. I'd recommend this rental place to all interested in rentals in Park City! read more

We rented Revel bikes from them for 3 days of riding around Park City. The staff was very nice, helpful and got us set up quickly. The bikes were excellent, and were in excellent condition for rental/demo bikes. My only issue is that they don't take reservations for bikes so I was a bit worried that they would not have them in when we got there. But we were able to get a Rascal (trail bike) and a Ranger (XC) in large. read more

Great Staff, disrespectful manager! The staff were helpful, flexible, and friendly. The main store on Park is what I'm talking about. After choosing my purchase of a ski bag I asked if any discount was available since I had just bought new skis and bindings four days ago. The staff member referred me to the manager who said basically "Some people come here and spend 20 to 30 thousand dollars and I don't give them a discount, and it's because they "Like our stuff"". I would have cancelled my purchase and left the store to purchase my hundred dollar ski bag if it was not for the kindness that the staff showed me to help select a product. If I were you I would take my 20 to 30 thousand dollars elsewhere! read more

Bought a pair of Nordica Speedmachine 3 boots from them. I like the product, they got me the heat molded inserts. Boots are 130 so a bit stiff and took a few days to get broken into to but after each days (2-3) I went back for adjustments and they were very accommodating, price was right, not a deep bargain but totally inline with market, based on the service I got I say the combo price / service was excellent. read more

After waiting over 20 minutes without even speaking to a boot fitter (only 2 on staff) I decided to head across the street to Cole Sport. So glad I did. Tucker made the experience well worth the price of new boots as well as a Cole Sport custom footbed. These people are rude, obnoxious and arrogant. They operate under deceptive business practices. They'll tell you a boot fitting is included with the purchase of any ski boot but then charge you $400. They say right on their website that it's included. The manager said he would bet me $100 that it didn't say that. When I agreed to the bet he backed out because he knew he was wrong. Jake is the best! I went in with my current ski boots to either have them worked on or look into new boots. Jake took a great deal of time to measure and analyze my hard-to-fit feet. He then spent significant time exploring new boot options - without applying any sales pressure - before looking closer at my current boots. I was nervous to buy boots because it's a big investment and I'm a relatively new skier. Sam at Cole sport was the absolute man - so helpful, approachable, and spent over an hour making sure my boots fit as perfectly as possible. He never rushed me, listened to what I wanted/ needed, and also explained everything from the very basics of how the boots work to long term care tips. The biggest thing I was concerned about was feeling intimidated and Sam instantly made me feel at ease. Another huge perk about Cole is that if the boots ever feel uncomfortable they'll help fix it. Incredible team of associates at this store! My husband and I purchased the wrong size jacket and needed to exchange it for another. We called the store to see if that was possible and the woman on the phone said yes, so we headed back up. Upon arriving to the store, the jacket we needed was nowhere to be found, we thought someone had purchased it. Thought we'd ask the women at the counter if they had any in the back and it turns out the woman we spoke with on the phone, took the liberty of putting the size jacket we needed aside without even asking! Terrible customer service. I honestly try to go in when they're not busy at all. Today I went in because I bought the wrong gloves for my circumstances, because no one helped me the day I bought them. I have Raynaud's and have terrible circulation. I bought gloves instead of mittens. I went back to exchange them and the manager made me feel as though I was a complete idiot. And then shamed me for not feeling ready to invest in $300 electric heated gloves when I'm just getting back into skiing after 10 years. She exchanged them, which is what I needed, but I have now had 3 awful experiences in Cole Sport. The bike shop team did and outstanding fixing my sons MTB brakes hours before he was scheduled to race at Soldiers Hollow Pro XTC. The guys understood the sense of urgency needed to complete a full brake bleed and fix. In the heat of getting the bike race ready, I didn't catch the names of the two machines, they are true Allstars! When I brought them back to Coles, they not only declined to issue a refund or store credit, but they were indignant and dismissive that I would even attempt to ask them to stand behind their merchandise. I came in for some Sorels and there wasn't a great selection, well, actually I only 'selected' from the display models since no one came to help me...and I wasn't in the mood to bring my achy skiing quads back down the stairs to ask one of the many employees chatting in the center area.
