Even though the shop was nearly empty, my order took about 15-20 minutes, so I was expecting something freshly prepared, maybe a warm slice of cake paired with ice cream. Unfortunately, what I received was a cold slice of cake that had clearly been taken from the display fridge, with a scoop of ice cream on the side. For the long wait, I expected a bit more care and presentation. The cake itself was just okay--not bad, but definitely not worth the $28 total I paid for the dessert and drink. I don't really know how else to describe this place other than, as the kids say, very mid. We went around 7pm on a Saturday evening and the place was empty - late night vibes. I don't usually comment on decor but as I was led to believe there was an Alice in Wonderland theme and with "Experience" in the name I expected more than a vision board version of Alice in Wonderland. Some checkered floors, mismatched seating, clocks on the wall, and forest wallpaper were the attempts. Someone else mentioned the music and that also stood out - cheesy top 40 music just rounded out the kind of low effort atmosphere. Even the names of the menu items weren't Alice themed which was, odd IMO. One thing that stood out to us that is more than just atmosphere was how beat up the silverware and glassware were despite being a relatively newly opened location. Very "aging diner" energy with how scuffed and patina-ed the silverware was and how cloudy the glassware was. Now the desserts themselves. We ordered a few ice creams and they were fine. Nothing objectively bad about them and they tasted good overall but being next door to Ben and Jerry's, ice cream needs to stand out to be the preferred choice, especially at the price being asked. Nothing really stood out. We also ordered an apple pie crepe. This one also was overall also not objectively bad, but the apple pie filling should have come out HOT, not lukewarm. The filling/topping could have also been a bit more tart to provide a more complex flavor than just SWEET, but that's more of a nitpick. Wo ordered a hot cocoa and this one was not good - it tasted more like steamed milk than anything else. Not enough chocolate. Disney Parks hot cocoa is honestly better and its theme park food. The service was friendly but actually surprisingly slow considering how empty it was. There was just one other party there when we arrived and it ended up taking quite a bit of time from ordering to get our items. Overall, the issue here is that this place bills itself as an experience and prices its product at a price point you'd expect from something immersive and premium but what it delivers is overall just kind of middle of the road. Definitely need to up the premium feel of their products or lower their prices. read more

Our waiter's name was Joe and he was super friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. I decided on the red velvet cake with white chocolate ice cream and my husband had the banana romance. The ice cream is wonderful. The gluten free options are very good ordered both the flourless chocolate cake and the gluten free waffle. Lots of options are gluten free so it made it easier to find things I could have with my other weird allergies. It's a bit pricey but with the portion size it's fair. The service was very good.
