I glanced over their summer drink menu and went with the maple miso matcha latte with almond milk. I decided to work remotely in the shop myself. It's pretty modern and chic inside and very friendly service. The matcha was a bit too milk forward for my liking where the matcha almost disappeared. The miso maple flavor however was pretty good and had a slight salty/nutty sweetness that I wish would've brought the matcha flavor out more. The person next to me ordered a breakfast burrito that looked amazing. So maybe that's definitely worth trying out!

Everything has been good and they have a really solid variety of deserts. One of the biggest positives is that it's open late. Camillus doesn't really have a lot of places where you can grab a good coffee and dessert later in the evening and actually hang out for a while, so Zamen fills a niche that was definitely missing. The only real knock on it is that service can be a little slow and the lines don't generally move fast. Overall, a very good spot and especially great to have here in Camillus. Good coffee, lots of desserts to choose from, late hours, and a very nice alternative to the usual chains. I'm very happy they're in the neighborhood and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu.

The coffee beans come from Yemen. This is their second location, after their first location in North Syracuse became a success. I enjoy a sweet, flavored iced coffee every now and then, and I prefer to support local roasters over larger commercial chains, so I was very happy to learn that Zaman would be opening a second location, as they have quickly become some of my favorite coffee in the CNY area. Everything about the second location is the same as the first - the location is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and all the options, both for coffee and desserts/pastries, are well prepared and delicious. Employees are mostly always pleasant and well informed on all their offerings. Happy to have a location a little bit closer to home.

Here I ordered it hot and found it overly sweet and the milk improperly steamed (dry cappuccino foam, no microfoam). There's seating for about 10 between four tables and also 3 barstools. A few more tables outside as well. Bathroom in the back with door code. Wifi with password. There are outlets at the tables but unfortunately some of them aren't working. Tends to echo, probably not an ideal place to take a meeting or phone call. Paid parking available across the street (see pictures). Service while ordering was average. However one worker came over about 10 minutes to close and awkwardly gestured for me and another customer to leave which I found odd. Note that overall it is much smaller than their Wescott location and they close much earlier as well. Hope to try again in the future with better results.

I love their matcha too and because it does not come mix with any sugar nor syrup. I finally got try a sandwich for breakfast today. I had the Omegatine and my daughter the classic. They both were delicious. If you are in Syracuse this is a must go. On a side note, their decaf is H2O treated which is the healthiest way to drink a decaffeinated cup of Joe ! Meter parking.

There are two window/bar areas where you can sit. There are no tables inside for sitting. I tried the lavender oat milk latte and thought it tasted very nice. However, it lacked lavender flavor and could have passed as just an oat milk latte to me. Their hours are M--F: 8am -- 4pm, S--Su: 8am -- 2pm. Their online menu says they also have wraps, breakfast sandwiches, and baguette sandwiches but I only saw yogurt and salads when I was there today. They sold a cute "I love Syracuse" tote. I don't see Syracuse gear often so I thought it was super cute that they sold local merchandise. Hummus and carrot sticks are $7 and their salads are $10-12. The items are on the pricey side but you do pay for the convenience of a quick lunch in the bustling downtown area. Parking is limited to 2-hour street parking (with meters).
