They have an abundance of men's and women's sports clothing selections from all the famous name brands (Nike, adidas, UA, and so much more)! I was impressed with their camping and fishing area, along with the shooting and archery section. On the other end from this section, Academy sports offers a large area of personal fitness machines, bikes, and other gear and accessories to help people keep in shape. The store itself is well managed, clean and impressively organized for a facility so large that offers so much! I got what I needed on this day. The service provided to me was pretty stellar overall. Undoubtably I'll be back! Hobbies help keep the sports store machine running! And with the decent (and sometimes excellent) prices on various sports items, it's pretty clear why Academy Sports is so popular in JAX! Take a visit here! They sell worms to use as bait that costs about $5 for a container of 15-20 worms. We previously bought night crawlers. They are sold in a small container in manure (strong smelling) and they were not alive. I'm not going to lie, it was extremely stinky and attracted a lot of flies. The upside is we caught a ton of fish with them. We recently bought earthworms. They were sold in small container in soft soil/ dirt and they were alive and it didn't smell at all (which is a huge plus). Again, we caught a ton of fish. The bait from this place does not disappoint. They also sold a ton of bait for deep sea fishing as well with a variety of options of fishing poles and lures. They were very informative and gave us great advice on how to catch a large carp fish that was hanging out in our lake. My son is 3 1/2 and caught his first fish using their bait.

While we were all experienced paddlers, this would definitely be an easy paddle for a beginner -- and if you're wary of paddling at night, rest assured there was nothing spooky about this! We felt completely comfortable with Hayden as our guide, and any gators in the area stayed far away from us. Seeing bioluminescence in the water and getting to hold / gently touch comb jellies as they glow (!!!) was an incredible experience. 10/10 would recommend and would do this tour again!

I came across this place basically by accident the other day while looking for a dealer for a…read moresuppressor I had ordered. Matt, who was working at the time, was extremely helpful with all of the questions I had without sounding like he wanted to sell me everything on the back wall. I noticed that they had some bows on the counter that looked like they were having work done and found out that was also a service they offered, so I ended up dropping my bow off the next day to have some work done and some arrows built for a hunting trip. I believe the guys I spoke with were the owners of the shop, and I can't say enough good things about the way they treated me while I was there. I plan on coming here for everything gun/bow/outdoors in the future.
