Billing issues here too. I told them that I didn't want my kids getting a treatment that they recommended and a month later. I was billed $600. I have never had this issue before with a dentist where the quotes were that off. It's really disappointing. I have switched all of us to a different dentist. read more

I couldn't be more disappointed with a dentist office than I am with White Smiles. Our whole family were patients here for years we got switched to the spring lake park location and when we arrived I was asked about fluoride treatments, I politely declined and then the two women who were going to clean my 3 kids teeth went on to talk to me about an alternative they have and could use. They both went on about how it contained hydroxyapatite, how it helped with re mineralizing the teeth etc. Then she asked if we would like it used, I asked once more "it doesn't contain any fluoride, correct?" I was told "no it's a product that they use before the fluoride treatment but if we didn't want the fluoride, it wasn't a big deal" after looking at the stuff they used it was called IN FACT called: "fluoride plus" right there on the label. I should have questioned to see it before they used it on my kids but I didn't. We left the appointment, then after leaving THEY sent me a link to leave a review, I left a TRUTHFUL review on google. The next day THEY called me to tell me "if you don't delete your google review you are no longer patients here" they canceled the appointment for my daughter to get a filling fixed that they originally placed a year ago. Do your self a favor a RUN the other way! This is patient abandonment. They are a terrible company who lie and do unnecessary treatment to teeth to make money off of you. I reached out to the owner Dr white with NO response back. Completely I am disappointed, I was completely disrespected as a parent and this IS a dishonest company. Told me my son had 3 cavities on our first visit. They couldn't show me where they were on either the X-ray or in person, but were very anxious to get him scheduled for fillings. Long story short we went elsewhere for a second opinion and to this day my son has never had one cavity! read more

I have another review. Previously, I had reviewed them that their hygienists were good, but the dentist the billing the receptionist are all terrible. Son took a baseball to the face, shattered his upper plate. Got in, they glued his back together and then seven WEEKS later he gets his in and we discover they ordered a full set. we didn't bring in a broken bottom. we broke out in a broken top, so they charged us over $2,000 and slid it right past me. I feel like they put one over on us. The new one is completely different style it goes way too high he had an appointment to get it fixed they canceled it that day and rescheduled it for 3 Days Later. When he obviously reacted, they hung up on him.These people are cruel ,they are unethical , and they are all about money. Trying to get refunded. IF it doesn't work, I'm going to go to the state and the dental regulation board about this. I have multiple complaints about them. I have always found this practice somewhat odd, with unusual dynamics between the dentist and hygienists. The care has been uneven, with a lot of pain involved. One treatment still does not feel comfortable after about a year. Also, watch out for the billing practices. Either you will receive the same bill more than once, or you will think you've paid the entire bill only to be blindsided by an add-on bill, perhaps a month or six weeks later. As a result, I am no longer a patient and regret having any work done with this practice. Did I mention it's also very expensive? Compare it to others. You will find out. read more

I had a very good experience going to the Albertville office for my annual dental exam. Kristi was very friendly and efficient and did a thorough cleaning of my teeth. There was a suggestion but no pressure to have further work done on my teeth. I appreciated that. read more

*main point if you don't want to read is: They segregate lower income by prioritizing convenient appointment times for higher wage earners, and they will reschedule your appointment every single time the week of even with six months advance planning. Also snotty pretentious personalities work there. Once upon a time, I gave them five stars. Things have changed. The dental hygienist, and the dentist are snotty and made me feel very uncomfortable during my last visit. I found out that my six year old was grinding his teeth at night, but was given no advice on how to deal with it other than from the front office staff. Over three years I've gone here with my two kids and every single time they've had to reschedule my appointment, despite it being scheduled six months in advanced. Today they called again to cancel my appointment which was a later time in the day. I was told that because I have medical insurance through Minnesota (which is supplemental to my private insurance by the way) I would only be allowed to have earlier appointments so that they could "better serve the community." Obviously I'm not part of this community that they like to better serve. The alternative was offering me an early appointment on the first day of school. The whole conversation made it very clear that they think less of people who have to ask the state with help for medical bills. Just know that if you have insurance for poor people, you are expected to take off work and take your kids out of school. Later times are only reserved for people who exclusively use private insurance. read more

im just going to get right to the point and start off by saying I've never had a worse dental experienc than when I went here. A little over a year ago they found I had two cavities and I had them filled. about 2-3 months later I had one fall completely out. I called white smiles and went in and had it fixed at no cost so I was completely satisfied with that besides the fact that a filling should last much longer than a few months but I didn't think much of it at that point. I figured it was just bad luck. About a year later the same filling chipped and slowly started coming out. So once again I go to white smiles to have it fixed since it's the same tooth as the first one that came out and it was covered again. Days later it was chipping, AGAIN!!! I'm also having a lot of sensitivity which wasn't happening before. I'm getting really frustrated with having to keep going back to have the same tooth worked on. I don't normally leave reviews but this is getting out of hand. Not only does this same filling keep coming out but the dentist is rude and doesn't come off as very caring. He has that "I'm here for the money" kind of attitude and it really shows. He's also very rough when working on my teeth. I always leave with a very sore and red lip. When he's finished working he gets up and walks away without saying anything to me. I've never felt so unwelcome at a dentist office before. i will be finding a new dentist office to go to and only going here if I need this same filling worked on again simply because it's covered through them.
