My last visit for alignment needed a part due to worn threads on an upper control arm. In addition there were loose bolts on the steering box. The part was replaced the bolts tightened and the alignment is correct and will last. This attention to detail is the difference between a safe and lasting repair and just a service that leaves you seeking more work or worse. It sometimes takes a little more time "to make it right" and this place will take the time if needed. Top notch.

Thankfully, I went somewhere else who diagnosed it as a knot in the tire and only charged me $40 for a comparable tire- no charge for "work up". This second time I went here, I was running out of daylight with work and everything and accidentally went back to this place (I couldn't remember the other place I had been to that was good, and ended up putting the wrong thing in the GPS, but figured how bad can it be). Momentum calls themselves a family run business but do not let that fool you. I got two second opinions about my car- and some of the things Momentum recommended I did not need done. Not only this, they wanted to charge me over $2,300 for the issues. The two other places I called and asked said it should be under 1K and to go see them. Thankfully, I was able to go back into Momentum and asked them to stop the repairs. At that point they had already done three tire replacements (which I did know I needed so this was fine), and I asked them to finish with the fourth but not to do all the other things they were going to do. I ended up paying $520 for new tires, which I didn't think was that bad. However, I did not appreciate the fact that these tires retail for $70 at Walmart, and Momentum charged me $88 per tire, and only after the fact did they tell me it was also a $30 fee per tire. Plus tax on top of this. This morning, I went to one of the said local shops I spoke with, and they told me the tires were a low quality brand (opposite of what momentum told me), and also said they could have done comparable tires for $365 total. I also got what actually needed done for much less of a price. Needless to say, do not go to Momentum Tire. They are crooks and should be ashamed of themselves. I am not sure if they see a girl and take advantage, but there were older people there too and I can't imagine how much money they are unnecessarily poaching from people. I also found out they have gotten in trouble for price gouging in the past and have that reputation. Thankful I spoke up and saved myself minimum 1K even though I lost some on the tires, but wow, awful experience. Don't let friendliness fool you.

They were very professional, and the work was done to my satisfaction. What made Momentum stand out and earn a great review instead of a good review for me was for following events that took place yesterday. I noticed a severe oil leak just after taking my almost 16-year-old dog to the vet to be euthanized. A sad day to start and then more stress heaped on with my first oil leak on a car I have had for 7 years - coincidentally just after trying out a new garage that had over charged me and tried to sell me several services that I knew I didn't need. After noticing the oil leak, I immediately took my vehicle back to the garage (new place in town - they still have balloons out front) I had decided to try out with an oil change one week earlier. As I write this review, I have now had 2 bad experiences at the "new garage" and left very unsatisfied both times: both when I picked up my car after the oil change and when I took it back after noticing the oil leak. I then decided to take my vehicle back to Momentum which was the last garage I had work done before the unsatisfactory oil change. I didn't have an appointment yesterday, but they fit me in since the oil leak was severe, and I was a returning customer. Not only did they fit me in, but they also found 2 different potential leak spots. They warrantied one which could have been a result of the oil pressure sensor they had replaced months ago, and they did some deep dive analysis on other potential leak spots, tightening up what seemed to need it. They went the extra mile and restored my faith in a garage. I had two negative experiences at the new garage I had tried out and a bad day in general. Now I know the first place I will take my vehicle from now on. No more trying out "the new place in town". My go-to garage from now on is Momentum. Thanks for restoring my faith in a local business and making a bad day a little better.

On May 31, I brought my truck to your dealership for three specific services: Engine oil and filter change. Transmission fluid and filter service. Diagnosis and repair of a recurring "Service Parking Brake" issue. At the time of drop-off, I clearly explained that whenever the Service Parking Brake message appeared, I would lose the ability to engage or disengage the electronic parking brake. I was informed that a diagnostic fee would be required, which I agreed to pay. After your diagnosis, I was told the parking brake actuator was the cause of the problem. Based on your professional recommendation, I authorized the repair and paid the invoice in full. Unfortunately, the exact same problem returned the very same day I picked up the vehicle. That Friday evening, I was stranded for approximately three hours at a gas station because the parking brake would not release. After disconnecting the negative battery terminal and waiting, I was finally able to get the vehicle moving again. I immediately attempted to contact the dealership. No one returned my calls. The following day, Saturday, the problem occurred again, leaving me stranded for an additional two hours. Once again, no meaningful assistance or callback was provided despite multiple attempts to contact the dealership through phone calls, voicemail messages, and your text messaging system. On Monday, I was finally instructed to bring the vehicle back Tuesday morning at 8:00 AM. I arrived as requested and once again explained the situation in detail. However, throughout the day I received no updates. By approximately 4:00 PM, nobody had contacted me regarding the status of my vehicle. I had to call myself just to obtain information. The following day was no different. I made multiple calls and received little to no communication. Eventually, I was informed that additional charges would apply for reprogramming a module. This was completely unacceptable. The vehicle was being returned for the exact same issue that I had already paid your dealership to diagnose and repair. I had already paid for the diagnostic process and the recommended repair. Any additional work required because the original diagnosis failed should have been handled under warranty and without attempting to charge me again. What is even more disappointing is that after all of this, the Service Parking Brake warning returned yet again immediately after I picked up the vehicle. At this point: I paid for a diagnostic procedure. I paid for the repair recommended by your technicians. I lost multiple days without my vehicle. I spent several hours stranded at gas stations. I repeatedly had to chase updates because communication was virtually nonexistent. I was asked to pay additional money for a problem that was never resolved. Most importantly, I still have the exact same issue today. Now is worse because even the engine light is coming on From my perspective, this does not reflect a proper diagnostic process. It appears that parts are being replaced based on assumptions rather than a conclusive root-cause analysis. A professional diagnosis should identify the actual source of the failure, not simply replace components and hope the problem disappears. I trusted your dealership because I expected factory-trained technicians, professional communication, and accurate troubleshooting. Instead, I have spent significant time, money, and effort and remain with an unreliable vehicle and the same unresolved problem. I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I have received and hope management takes this matter seriously.
