I have a few bookmarks down for coffee shops in the Westport area and since we don't make it out there's much as we once did our progress through those bookmarks is slower. But on our last trip which was quite recently we went to Whitecap Espresso. There was a storm rolling in a d it was windy as all get out but the little shop was open. The barista for this drive up place was very nice and sweet so that was very nice. I got the London Fog. This has become a favorite drink of mine and it sounded so good with all of the stormy weather. We received the drink and it was pretty good. Perhaps not that "dreamy, floaty" feeling that I get with some London Fogs probably due to the Earl Grey and maybe the oat milk playing off of each other but it was still good. I'd definitely would come back to explore more of their drink options whenever we are I'm town visiting. read more

It's a drive through coffee place, the service was quick, the barista was pleasant, and most importantly the coffee was good. The coffee seemed reasonably priced. I'll visit again if I'm in town. read more

Nice little coffee shop that is super easy to access. I am a little bit of a coffee snob but I thought their coffee was pretty average. Not bad by any means but not the best I ever had either. This is my go-to coffee spot. I know there's a couple options in Westport, but the vibe here is so much better and the coffee is amazing! The monthly specials are also some of the most creative and fun. I branch out from my usual order from time to time just so I can try something new, and it really is new! I tried an espresso with lavender! Haven't had that before and it was great. Also, the bagels are yummmmm! The Asiago and Jalapeño Cheddar are my faves. This small little coffee stand was an easy stop on the side of the road. The sign was a little hard to see with the plant in front of the sign. There is a 35 mph posted speed limit and your coming round a corner so don't blink or you'll miss it. None the less we got our brew and a Red Bull Italian soda too! The RB Italian soda got a good comment from our daughter and the brew was tasty. The visit was fast and the service was to. In and out of there quickly. read more

I needed to know there was access to a mocha, and this poor shop doesn't show up on searches. This surprise gem was a much needed fix, and I'm so glad I stopped! While we were waiting, all of a sudden the barista (maybe owner?) popped up with a baby in her arms... And as we left she plopped a "feeding baby, back in 5" sign up on the window! Love the location and stop often when passing by and the right Barista is there. Stopped about noon today (10/23/21) to give this one Barista yet another chance. Unfortunately, she failed AGAIN to get my order correct and she's really slow besides. Three strikes and you're out Ms Camo. Yum! Stopped for a dirty chai to warm up while clamming and this was by far the best one I've ever had (and that's a lot ). It was so good we went back the next morning and both my husband and I got one on the way out of town. Wish this spot was closer to my house! Both the girls we encountered were fabulous and friendly. Hubs and I were traveling on vacation and stopped to fuel up. We noticed the coffee stand across the road had a line of customers. I pulled up the Yelp to see what was up and found a charming family establishment that I wanted to support. I had the white chocolate mocha espresso with the marionberry scone. Oh. My. Goodness. It was good! Hubs had the hot cocoa and toasty cinnamon raisin bagel and cream cheese. The customer service was great and we were happy with our goodies as we continued on our adventure. Mixed reviews here. Convenience factor = 5* but the past couple times I've been on a Sunday the service has been horrible...same employee and I can only assume she's new given both times I asked for the same thing and both times I had the same experience. She did not know what a "tall" was (I don't frequent Starbucks at ALL but the baristas at all other stands I go to know this to be a 12oz....just easier to spit out "double tall nonfat latte" than "double 12oz nonfat latte). Then she didn't know what "double" meant. She had to repeat my order several times to get it and then it took forever....as in over 10 mins for 2 lattes ...and no it wasn't busy :( Disappointing as two other gals have been AWESOME but hard to keep giving business when you just don't know who will be working :( read more
