We went with powdered Donuts and added a raspberry drizzle and the raspberry sugar coated donuts were a must. We can't have enough raspberry and these two options were so good! The raspberry sugar mix is homemade and such a good spin on your classic sugar donut. Gives it that extra kick you know a sugar donut needs and who doesn't love raspberry anything?! These mini donuts are dense and delicious just like a mini donut should be. I loved the powder donuts and the extra drizzle is so simple yet mind blowing. Never before had I had anything drizzled on simple powder donuts and the raspberry was a perfect sweetness to a classic. So many flavors to choose from and so many options. it's 2 flavors per dozen which is a little hard because to try more flavors you have to buy more donuts. I would pay a little extra to get more flavors in a dozen. Let's talk about each flavor. So we got 4 flavors, blackberry cheesecake, jelly belly, samosas and lemon bar. The blackberry cheesecake is good but there wasn't. strong flavor in there. I wish the cheesecake flavor was more distinctive. The jelly belly was good as well. Powder donut with jelly filling. Very good not my favorite but worth a try. The lemon bar was very lemoney and very sweet. A little too sweet. My favorite was definitely the samosas. They weren't too sweet and tasted just like a samosa girl scout cookie. I am not usually a chocolate person but these are definitely my favorite. I will definitely be back and try other flavors. This place was interesting. The people inside were friendly. Very smiley. They're closed Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. Their open hours aren't horrible. 7am to 2pm. You can order a dozen in two flavors. The donuts come in an assortment of flavors. I ordered blackberry cheesecake and s'mores. Good gawd those s'mores donuts were nasty! The chocolate tasted old. Had to throw them out after eating one. The blackberry donuts were decent enough to finish. The dough tasted weird. I ordered a 20oz chai tea. The whole milk made it thick, but there wasn't much flavor. Wasn't horrible, but I didn't bother to finish it either. Maybe don't waste your time coming here. read more

Kookamunga's was one of our favorite finds during our weekend stay in Ocean Shores. We got lucky and stopped by during their last day of the season before they closed until the spring. With so many different flavors to choose from, my husband and I finally decided on blackberry cheesecake & s'mores. The doughnuts were so good! Crisp on the outside with a soft bite inside, each doughnut was a perfect pillow of happiness. I loved the s'mores flavor - can't beat the oozy marshmallow & chocolatey goodness! Even more than the flavor, we were blown away by the local charm and friendliness of the staff there. In the spirit of the holidays, they ended up giving us the doughnuts for free! A real gem in Ocean Shores! We were only in town for one night and in the morning our goal was to find something sweet and delicious to eat, and some coffee to enjoy on the beach. Kookamunga's was it! Their doughnuts are sold by the dozen but they are mini. We chose half Jelly Belly, half Phantom Espresso. Great choices! They were incredible! Hot, fresh, and fluffy. We also tried a white mocha with vanilla and a chai tea latte and were just as satisfied. They have a drive-thru window or a walk up window to order (which seems to be super popular in WA and I love it). No indoor dining as it's just a tiny building big enough for a kitchen! The staff was so kind, gave recommendations, and were just a blast to talk to. If I'm ever back in Ocean Shores, I would absolutely come here again. There were so many flavors to try and my waistline was delighted I DIDN'T try them all! LOL It was one of the most difficult things I've ever done but I managed NOT to scarf all of them down before we got to our friends. The first time we passed on the donuts, we thought 12 was too many and just got two coffees, a vanilla latte and an almond milk cappuccino and they were AMAZING. We had to go back the next day and this time we got donuts, half with chocolate icing and almonds and half cookies and cream. They were PERFECT. Not too sweet and made fresh to order.
