The staff can get tired of tourists and not be as friendly. The selection is limited due to the remote location of Ocean Shores. This means if you are looking for special ethnic foods and vegetables, you maybe out of luck. Bring these items from home. I am SE Asian and the selection was lacking as far as fresh herbs and greens go. I was missing many sauces over the years for stir fry like sesame seed oil, hunan, and chili oil. I drove to Olympia for Jasmine rice purchased 100lbs at a time. The deli is pricey but there is only one McDonalds in town and no other fast food options.
