We tried out 7th Street Coffee on a recent trip to the area. Excited for an americano, Chai tea latte, and cookies, we eagerly stopped here for our very first visit to 7th Street Coffee. Both drinks were weak, and the americano became almost undrinkable. I do believe we had a newer barista who may have still been in training. The peanut butter cookie was lovely and local. The chocolate chip was a bit too doughy, but still delicious. I see that this place could be heading towards greatness, but for now it needs a bit of work. read more

We make it to Raymond at least twice a year spending several days at a time. Each day begins with a 24oz drip coffee. Best that we have tasted from a coffee house. Staff is friendly and even though we are not a local, we are being remember by a few of the employees. read more

The white mochas here are great, hot or iced. I also tried the jet teas and they are so good! They're like a smoothie. Its fruit puree mixed with green tea and blended with ice! Yummy!! Little whip cream on top and it makes for the perfect summer drink. My favorite flavors have been strawberry banana and peach! read more

I was going here for a while but the one woman who works there is always off pudding. At first I thought it was me but she consistently treats me bad and make me very poor drinks. The last time was it for me, I couldn't even drink it, it was so bad. And then I ordered a muffin and she didn't tell me they switched out from regular muffins to muffin tops. Firstly, they serve Hair Bender espresso by Stumptown Coffee Roasters. Now most people, myself included, will pull up to a little roadside espresso oasis and will happily trade a few bucks for regular and nameless, lack-luster espresso shot in your hand. Hair Bender is not espresso, it is art. It is of beans chosen by people who adore coffee, and mixed to create something more than just coffee. Heres how it happened. I was headed towards deep rainforest wilderness for some meditation, to ponder the meaning of my existence, and of course fishing, beer drinking, and goofing around. I hadn't had a day off in months and my high-stress, high-stakes job was pounding me into the god-forsaken ground. I leveraged 3 days off, and I hit the road and felt that freedom of the wind in my hair. I pulled into this little place- also known as 7th street coffee. I had a good feeling. A young blond woman came to the window. Her eyes and cheeks had a depth and brightness of them, infinitely complex yet effortlessly shining through. She was beautiful. We talked a little bit, about forests and bridges we'd seen, and ones we wish to see. Our exchange of words and silences, eyes and lips moving, pitches and rhythms, wove together in a round exchange. Fitting tightly, yet spaciously. The breeze was moving around us and I smiled and gave her some money. She prepared the espresso, turned towards me, and held out the cup. For just a moment in time both of our hands wrapped around this little espresso. This is the jewel at the center. A spark so small it's easy to miss. The moment when these little toasted beans move between the giver and receiver and connect them in a literal way. Usually missed by the mind's impatient dissociation with the present. But here... I felt it. I took the cup and went on my way. I had a smile. I rose the little cup's rim to rest on my upper lip and pulled in the sweet aroma deeply. I felt the familiar feeling of joy, sometimes felt when blessed with good fortune. I couldn't believe this miracle... driving into the horizon towards a beautiful weekend with a cup of pure and euphoric energy in my hand. tl;dr- 7th Street is great, you should go there. read more

Right across the lot from Slater's Diner, this little coffee place has a drive-through, as well as some tables inside if you wish to chill and read the paper. The place is small, charming. Just driving through and found this cute shop. I ordered a surprise latte because I didn't really know what to order, and it is wonderful! The espresso is full and flavorful and she nailed the flavor combo. My husband ordered a blended red bull and it was the best blended energy drink I've ever had (and I worked in coffee for 4 years)! Delightful drive-thru espresso cafe with three tables inside for those who prefer not to "drink" and drive, or who simply have the time to stay. We found the 7th St cafe after a night in Raymond at the Pitchwood Inn (see other review) and decided to see if their coffee stood up to the Yelp reviews. We found 7th St Cafe on a back st at about 10:45 am midweek and there were lines of vehicles pulled up to both windows. The lines moved and when we reached the window we realized that the same young woman was handling orders on both sides as well as anyone who walked in. She was pleasant, very fast and within minutes we had our coffees. The coffee was delicious and I'd recommend this little place to anyone traveling out to the southern coast of Washington or coming up this way from the coast of Oregon as we were. This was a nice surprise. We were expecting just a drive-thru and found a place that also had a nice seating area with 4 or 5 tables. The drip coffee was perfect. There was a spotless bathroom as well! Nice decor too. The only improvement I can think of is to increase the snack selection. read more

This is our go to drive thru coffee shop on our way home from Long Beach Wa. Unfortunately we can't drive thru because we are always pulling a travel trailer. What is so great is that we can park in the lot next to the shop or even park next to the shop on the street. I always get a hot mocha so I judge a shop by their version. Well their's is superb!! I don't know if it's the coffee or their chocolate. Yesterday was their 1 year anniversary and while in the shop we enjoyed complimentary mini cupcakes. Yummy. The 2 baristas were busy working both windows and the walk in traffic. Very customer oriented. I would like it if they could add a Mexican mocha to their menu. read more
