It has a nice pavilion for eating lunch and restrooms. There is a nice walking section around the park. The fossil area is easy to get to with many signs explaining what to look for. My kids were excited that they found fossils right away. Mostly shell looking fossils plus some pieces of coral. We each brought home a small bag of items to sort through. Since everything was money it was hard to rinse anything off there so we had to wait until we get home to see what we found. Lots of things that we still need to research. Highly recommend them adding a sluice style washing area like the gem mining setups you see at campgrounds. Plus a great playground.

I'm always on a walking trail because yeah running long distance has never been for me. I take my fanny pack for my phone n keys and off I go. They are kind of back in style, right? The visitors center is nice with actual toilets (I.e., not port a potty type things like some parks have) and has a community space for rent. Plenty of parking as well.
