Most places had extremely limited availability, could only provide one of the two services, turned me away, or were charging over $160+ for everything. When I called Bexley Urgent Care, the experience was completely different from the start. Even over the phone, the staff was friendly, patient, and eager to answer all of my questions. On top of that, their pricing was far more affordable than most of the other places I contacted. Once I arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and made sure to double-check that everything I needed could be completed during my visit. I was assisted by a newly graduated nurse who was training a medical assistant, and both of them did an amazing job. As a student myself, I really appreciated how supportive, professional, and knowledgeable they were throughout the entire process. Dr. Spegal completed my physical and was extremely efficient, helpful, and thorough. The assessment was quick but still very professional and attentive. I would absolutely recommend Bexley Urgent Care to anyone needing urgent care services, especially students needing physicals or TB testing. The entire team truly seems committed to helping and supporting their patients. It was a very reassuring experience, and honestly, it's the kind of environment I'd gladly return to -- and even one I'd love to work in someday!

Her bedside manner was not particularly warm, but I decided to move forward. During our next session, which lasted approximately 30 minutes, she asked basic questions about why I was seeking an ADHD evaluation. I answered her questions, completed the paperwork she provided, and returned it before our scheduled follow-up appointment. She then failed to show up for that appointment. I waited online, sent multiple messages and emails, and received no response for approximately 48 hours. As a healthcare provider myself, I find this especially troubling. When you work in mental health, patients are coming to you for help and should reasonably expect communication, professionalism, and respect for scheduled appointments. What made the situation even more frustrating was being charged a total of $264 despite receiving only about 40 minutes of face-to-face time and having my follow-up appointment missed by the provider. I requested a refund because I did not believe the services I received justified the amount charged. She did not respond to my refund request. I ultimately reported my concerns to the company that referred me to her. For me, this was not simply about the money. It was about professionalism, accountability, communication, and trust. A healthcare provider should not expect patients to honor appointments and financial obligations while failing to demonstrate that same level of responsibility. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this provider or her practice.

One of the nurses rolled her eyes when asked to give out hot towels... Lastly when I was asked to be discharged one of the nurses said they were understaffed when there were staff everywhere. The lobby barely had any people. They finally gave me my chest scan when I begged 5 times to leave. To my surprise every result came back normal! Why would I stay in the hospital for 6 hours if my results came back normal? This sort of treatment is lazy and as a hard working black woman I don't appreciate this type of behavior!

I then try to get to communicate the following day and begged and begged and begged at the technical assistant would fix this.. it still wasn't fixed.. this is what they say on their MyChart..."Communicate with your doctor, get answers to your medical questions from the comfort of your own home, access your test results.". This is a complete lie.. they put me in the worst position here I couldn't even communicate with my doctor and I begged and I begged and I begged please make it so that I can send a message to my doctor on my chart.. they completely ignored me.. nobody replied nobody even cared.. find me what I did was said take my whole MyChart down I will never use it again completely remove the whole thing I will never use your service again and now I will have to call in for everything and I will never be able to use a service that they supposedly provided for me when I needed to communicate with my doctor the most important things I couldn't even get communication to her when she kept calling and calling and calling and I couldn't get to the phone because I'm working... How dare you create a system that's supposed to streamline communication and not allow a very important communication to be given to my doctor when she's calling me.. after I begged and I begged and I begged for you to fix it.. clearly the IT department should be replaced. I even submitted requests in the MyChart for technical assistance and it was completely ignored!
