I needed a physical and TB testing completed for my nursing program, and after calling what felt like every clinic and urgent care in Columbus, I was honestly frustrated. Most places had extremely limited availability, could only provide one of the two services, turned me away, or were charging over $160+ for everything. When I called Bexley Urgent Care, the experience was completely different from the start. Even over the phone, the staff was friendly, patient, and eager to answer all of my questions. On top of that, their pricing was far more affordable than most of the other places I contacted. Once I arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and made sure to double-check that everything I needed could be completed during my visit. I was assisted by a newly graduated nurse who was training a medical assistant, and both of them did an amazing job. As a student myself, I really appreciated how supportive, professional, and knowledgeable they were throughout the entire process. Dr. Spegal completed my physical and was extremely efficient, helpful, and thorough. The assessment was quick but still very professional and attentive. I would absolutely recommend Bexley Urgent Care to anyone needing urgent care services, especially students needing physicals or TB testing. The entire team truly seems committed to helping and supporting their patients. Showed up at 6pm on a Friday. Waiting room was empty. Front door signage says they are open until 8pm on Fridays. We walked in and they said they could not take us because they close at 7pm. I pointed out the hours on their doors and they said that they "do not take walk-ins". read more

Unfortunately, I've had to visit this Urgent Care several times since my first time. I've seen the same Doc a couple of times. Same nurse (?) guy has helped to me the last couple of times (I'm so sorry I don't remember your name, but youre amazing). I REALLY like this practice. It's definitely the best Urgent Care I've ever been to. Very kind, understanding staff. They're pretty quick too. I've never had to wait long and I'm usually out of there in no time. First time using this location, or going to an urgent care in years! Missed a couple of stairs in the dark and fell and twisted my ankle pretty bad. Sober too so it was me just being unfortunately clumsy or not having coffee yet. I knew I needed to wanted to get an X-ray and get it checked out so checked my Insurance and called prior to going in. Copay for me was $50 and they do take a lot of insurances but I I definitely recommend checking if you have insurance and don't assume it's covered if that is a concern. I know it was for me. I arrived 8:55 and was able to complete paperwork, register and check in 15mins. I asked if I could wait in the car and they said no problem that they would call. I really liked this option as it appeared like COVID central in there for testing but I am just really cautious. I heard the receptionist say it was a 2 hour wait for those looking for tests and I wanted to limit any possible exposure just in case. Most of the folks were required to wait in their car and that's what gave me the idea! It was about another 20 minute wait and then a phone call from the nurse to get some more info and went into the lobby around 9:40 and taken back to the exam room. Was seen my the nurse, and then the doc, and after some time was taken back for x-rays and then back for the results. Good new is nothing was broken. Just a bad sprain. Checking in and distancing could have been a little better. Also there were no clean or masks offered upon entry. Bring your own or you have to leave type situation. Can't be in any hurray when visit an urgent care but I feel like I lucked out with this visit being just slightly over an hour. I like the location and that they take my insurance. That is the only reason I chose them but would return if needed. Apparently only 4 staff and docs for that location so keeping that in mind, and with the volume of folks, they did amazing. read more

I visited Bexley Urgent Care while visiting from out of state. I was able to book an appointment online 30 minutes before my appt time. I was seen almost immediately upon my arrive. The office was clean, the staff friendly and knowledgeable, strict covid safety protocols were in place and I was well taken care of and received thorough diagnostics, a diagnosis and treatment plan. Although I'm fully vaccinated, I got some COVID symptoms recently. I called Bexley Urgent Care and the automated message said that you do not need an appointment for COVID tests. I work in a school, so it was essential that I get the test ASAP. I walked in, the waiting room was completely empty and there was only 1 car in the COVID testing spaces. They said that they changed their policy 2 weeks ago, and I needed an appointment. I referenced the voice message, and they said they were aware and working to change the message. Really couldn't get the message changed in 2 weeks?? I asked if I could still get the test given their mistake, and the fact that there was only 1 patient at the time. Nope. $115 co-pay if you don't have insurance, even with an empty lobby they still take an excessive amount of time to get you in, and told me my trip was covered by the co-pay and then a month later proceeded to send me an additional bill. Had to call several times to address additional charge and was told multiple times the billing department wasn't available. Never received calls back despite leaving voicemail. Nice office staff and medical staff, but seems very unorganized. read more

I went here because my back was hurting and it was hard for me to breath. The nurse practitioner that took care of me took my blood pressure and checked my heart rate then she was done. I told her I felt like a spine injury because I fell a couple months back and she told me to take ibuprofen..... I paid a 200 dollar co-pay for her to not even check my back and tell me to take an over the counter drug I'd already been taking. To top it all off she was very very rude. read more

I have been here several times for my kids. Typically the wait isn't too bad maybe an hour to hour and an half for the entire visit. The office is clean and offers coloring books, candy l, bathrooms and a tv. It's rather small so when someone that comes in that is hacking up a lung you wanna leave lol. Do not go to this Urgent Care. They do all "exams" in your car. They do not look in ears, nose or throat despite symptoms. They give no information about testing whether it's COVID, strep, etc. They don't send out cultures on strep tests. In other words, they take your co-pay and barely look at you through your car window. There are Little Clinics that are seeing patients in-person. Go there and put this place out of business because they are clearly not in healthcare. read more

I went to this location about a month ago to get my children sports physicals. I filled out all paperwork given to me by the receptionist (the long Ohio sports physical packet) and waited in the office to be seen. After almost an hour, we were told that the PA wouldn't see the kids because the paperwork was for HS kids, but it was pretty much the same form on the kid's athletic club website (from Ohio High School Athletics), so I filled the one from the website out and waited some more. All the while, the receptionist and nurse were helpful, but when the PA took the new form, he again refused to see the kids because in the bottom of the page it said "page 2 of 2" and he couldn't see page 1. Page 1 was probably directions on how to fill out page 2. I didn't need to turn in page 1. It wasn't even linked to the website. So again, I asked him to just accept the 1st packet the office handed me. He refused. This process took almost two hours. I called the main office on Monday to comment on the fact that the office didn't seem to know what to do with my kids and the fact that I felt the PA was being difficult. I was not rude or irate, but I did challenge the policy and the fact the debacle went on so long. When my questions seemed to get too difficult for the Office Manager, Molly, to answer, she hung up on me! I called back and asked to speak to the owner (her father), but my phone call was never returned. The unprofessionalism of the higher-ups here is really what warranted my review. read more

Having worked in a medical office, I can say I received a really poor standard of care here. I came in with a persistent cough of about 3wks and the start of a bacterial respiratory infection. The PA I saw wanted me to try some cough meds first. I disagreed with her assessment that it was viral and was pretty sure I needed antibiotics, but I was willing to wait a few days to see if things would improve. 3 days later my condition worsened and I called them back like they told me to. 4hrs passed by and no response, so I called again because I knew they were closing soon. They told me the dr would call me. No one returned my call. The next morning I called back and was tersely told that they called a prescription for me the previous night. I guess I was just supposed to be psychic and magically know this. I'm really upset that I spent so much time suffering when all they needed to do let me know they called something in. Respiratory infections can become serious very quickly. This situation is basic incompetence. I feel like this place couldn't care less after they have your payment. read more

Don't waste your time at this urgent care in Bexley. Went there for a test they told it would be 3 to 5 days for results and it's been almost 14 days and no results . I'm sure they charged my insurance. It's a rip off. They shouldn't even be in business if they are going to treat customers like that. read more

Really disgusted with these people. I needed a COVID test for travel back in August. I decided to do it out of pocket just in case it came up positive and I did want my insurance to turn it into a pre-existing condition. They told me it would be $127, which was fine by me. Fast forward 6 months later, and I'm receiving a bill for lab fees I called the billing department only to find out that these fees weren't included in the $127 and they stated that Bexley Urgent Care had done a very poor job of communicating that. Apparently it is in the paperwork, but when you're sitting in a car in the heat of August waiting for someone to stick a huge swab up your nose you just take for granted that the price you are quoted is the price you'll pay. Fortunately the test was negative and I was able to turn it over to my insurance, but I can just imagine who else was surprised by this and had neither the insurance nor the cash to pay for it. The lab actually apologized on behalf of Bexley Urgent Care, but they shouldn't have had to. So if you ever have the misfortune of needing to go there, make sure to ask them for a detail of what you will be paying whether it is to them or a third party. read more

I can say unequivocally I will NEVER go to this urgent care again even though it was in my community. Wait time was about an hour, no big deal. Went in for cough, sore throat, headache, itchy eyes. Realized I was seeing a PA with no real doc in site, thought they could only work under a physicians supervision. Long story short, both prescriptions sent to wrong pharmacy. When I told them, they resent to correct one but were too busy to cancel at first one. Told me to just not pick it up. So when I went to pick up at right pharmacy, my insurance denied them because the urgent care wouldn't call them and they were filled. However, the WORST issue was that the PA called in a medication for me that was Pseudo- Ephedrine which is absolutely contraindicated for a person with a heart rhythm disturbance. I could have ended up in the ER or worse. When I called him, he kept saying it was my opinion and I didn't have to take it. Every physician I have even seen has to me to avoid these meds. So, bottom line, I would never ever go there, wish I would have read yelp first. Also, PA's are not doctors. This one made a big mistake. There IS a reason physicians are supposed to oversee them. We came here for a jammed finger and it took an hour to see the PA then another hour after X-rays were done. The wait is ridiculous.

I had to visit during a trip out of state when I had an allergic reaction. I unfortunately did not have my insurance card and the receptionist was very helpful,understanding, and patient while I contacted my dad for our information. The nurses and PA I saw were excellent and very kind. They took adequate to speak to me and the PA even went as far as to ask why I was in town and made several suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to eat at.
